Everyone in our group was more than pleased with what we ordered (chicken pot pie, meatloaf, pork loin). The restaurant itself holds a lot of interest from the gardens in the front to the deconstructed log cabin on the inside. Parking can be a challenge.

Been waiting for months to come here. This is what I love about Roswell. It's rustic, charming and fills your heart with a soft happiness. They serve amazing homemade corn muffins while you wait. Loved them! Best fried chicken I've ever had. Sides were amazing too (broccoli casserole and cream corn). Coconut cream pie capped of this amazing dinner. I'd... More

This is some of the best Southern Cooking you will find anyplace. They have all of the basics well prepared, well made, and perfectly presented. Everything is made to order which results in a little delay, but it is more than worth the wait. They variety offered is large, and the portions are huge. Be sure to leave some of... More

We had dinner at Greenwood's recently prior to a baptism for our Grandson. This was our first visit so we had no preconceived notion of what to expect. The service by the staff was prompt, professional and very kind toward the children in our group. The entree selections were varied and the common reaction from our guests was: great food,... More

For $20 entrees we have a reasonable expectation, but the grilled fish was bland, and the shrimp & grits tasteless. This restaurant gives huge servings so quantity is not the issue, it's the quality that is lacking. The servers are friendly enough, but we won't be back.

Someone recommended this restaurant and the duck. My husband and I don't usually eat duck but OMG! It was in a kind of plum sauce, we got it crispy and we finished every bit of it! The shrimp and cheese grits were the best we had. Fired green tomatoes were huge and good as was the crab cake that had... More

I came here with my husband, father, and in laws when my dad was in town for a nice family meal. When we arrived to the restaurant, it started raining pretty hard. A few minutes later it started hailing and then all of a sudden, the power went out. We had only been served bread and drinks at this point... More

This is the food I grew up eating and the food my heart longs to cooks. Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, green beans, squash casserole. Everything is made right and with love.

Food was good but overpriced. Big helpings. Roswell great walking around town. Greenwoods in good location. Atmosphere good. Converted older home. Will go back.

Whenever we want consistently delicious good food, we can cook ourselves or, just go to Greenwoods! There is something special about this old house on Green Street. Regardless of what you order, my personal favorites are the pork tenderloin, with the butter, chive and lemon sauce, meat loaf or crab cakes, they are all delicious. The vegetable selection is broad,... More
