This place has been around for years and there is a reason for that. We go to Amalfi a few times a year and are always happy with the food and service. We try other Italian restaurants occasionally and recently one a few miles away in Roswell...Amalfi has way better food. Our favorites are the Calamari Luciano, the meatballs and... More

Heard lots of great things about Amalfi's. Average at best. Nothing was bad, but nothing was good. Bland and underwhelming. Will try one more time in case I just picked the wrong grouper dish. PS - they say the bar is first-come-first-serve but after the bar tender (Sal) ignored us while wanting to order wine while waiting we where then... More

Food is good...have eaten here at least half dozen times. However, go here enough and it's inevitable you will have a run in with the wait or worse one of the owners Salvatore. Never been treated as bad in any restaurant before. Attitude is you're previliaged to even be in my restaurant.so take our attitude or hit the door

The is a small restaurant with a big attitude. Typically Italian? Maybe so: food is good, there is enough variety on the menu, no vegetarian choices. A regular clientele is willing to wait in the tiny bar, which accommodates a couple of very cramped tables as well. This is a family run operation.

Lovely old school italian restaurant. Great service, handsome waiters! Mushroom ravioli was savory, and extra large meatball was enough to share. The creme brulee was a must! Excellent choice away from the chain restaurants!

Very good food, but you must endure the extraordinarily unpleasant snobs that operate this place. The serving staff expects you to follow their dictates and you are supposed to think that the staff's rudeness is a part of the great experience.

I am Italian and it takes a lot to please me with Italian food. Used to great food. The Amalfi was good.

We try to visit this place when we are back in the Atlanta area. This place is just plain a winner. A genuine Italian restaurant run by an Italian family. The result is always a delightful dinning experience for us. This was true again last night. Service and food were very good. This is a busy place so go early... More
