The is a small restaurant with a big attitude. Typically Italian? Maybe so: food is good, there is enough variety on the menu, no vegetarian choices. A regular clientele is willing to wait in the tiny bar, which accommodates a couple of very cramped tables as well. This is a family run operation.

Lovely old school italian restaurant. Great service, handsome waiters! Mushroom ravioli was savory, and extra large meatball was enough to share. The creme brulee was a must! Excellent choice away from the chain restaurants!

Very good food, but you must endure the extraordinarily unpleasant snobs that operate this place. The serving staff expects you to follow their dictates and you are supposed to think that the staff's rudeness is a part of the great experience.

I am Italian and it takes a lot to please me with Italian food. Used to great food. The Amalfi was good.

We try to visit this place when we are back in the Atlanta area. This place is just plain a winner. A genuine Italian restaurant run by an Italian family. The result is always a delightful dinning experience for us. This was true again last night. Service and food were very good. This is a busy place so go early... More

What an Italian gem this restaurant is. The food, wine and service are spectacular. The Caprese salad and callamari are the best I have had, and Salvatore is a wonderful host.

Not your neighborhood pizza place. Great, well prepared Italian food. Excellant entrees & pasta. Have never had a bad dish here

Very popular, relatively small so arrive early! Parking is challenging. Getting in and out when people park in every nook and cranny can be difficult. Food is very good. Appetizers we had were antipasto and mozzarella carrozza. Meats, cheeses, vegetables excellent. Fried mozzarella sandwiches were delicious but heavy. Meatballs and panzorotti were a hit. Panzorotti were creamy and delicious. Angel... More
