We were stuffed into a corner and had poor service. The food was average Italian fare. We sort of expected what we might find on the Amalfi coast or Naples, we found what we would expect at a chain restaurant by a mall in the states.

If you are looking for the most authentic Italian cuisine and restaurant in the North Atlanta area, this is it. I am Italian, therefore I am an Italian food snob and will not eat at just any place that claims to serve real Italian food. Amalfi is the real deal. Reminds me of the many New York Italian joints I'd... More

This is a must stop every time we are back in the area. We met friends there tonight and it was special again. The service was grand and our food spectacular. This place is not fancy but it is really special. My wife.and I both had the veal Amalfi and it was unbelievable. This is like a old Italian restaurant... More

This is a great Italian restaurant just down the road from the Canton Street area. However, this place can get busy on the weekends. Regardless, the food is always wonderful. The staff work very hard to keep you happy and coming back. It is on my permanent list for the Roswell area.

This place has been around for years and there is a reason for that. We go to Amalfi a few times a year and are always happy with the food and service. We try other Italian restaurants occasionally and recently one a few miles away in Roswell...Amalfi has way better food. Our favorites are the Calamari Luciano, the meatballs and... More

Heard lots of great things about Amalfi's. Average at best. Nothing was bad, but nothing was good. Bland and underwhelming. Will try one more time in case I just picked the wrong grouper dish. PS - they say the bar is first-come-first-serve but after the bar tender (Sal) ignored us while wanting to order wine while waiting we where then... More

Food is good...have eaten here at least half dozen times. However, go here enough and it's inevitable you will have a run in with the wait or worse one of the owners Salvatore. Never been treated as bad in any restaurant before. Attitude is you're previliaged to even be in my restaurant.so take our attitude or hit the door

The is a small restaurant with a big attitude. Typically Italian? Maybe so: food is good, there is enough variety on the menu, no vegetarian choices. A regular clientele is willing to wait in the tiny bar, which accommodates a couple of very cramped tables as well. This is a family run operation.

Lovely old school italian restaurant. Great service, handsome waiters! Mushroom ravioli was savory, and extra large meatball was enough to share. The creme brulee was a must! Excellent choice away from the chain restaurants!

Very good food, but you must endure the extraordinarily unpleasant snobs that operate this place. The serving staff expects you to follow their dictates and you are supposed to think that the staff's rudeness is a part of the great experience.
