If you are looking for a great Chinese dining experience, this isn't it, but if you want something for lunch that is filling, fast, and inexpensive this is your place. The lunch specials are out in just a few minutes, the taste is OK, and the price is excellent. So, in a hurry and want to go on the cheap,... More

The restaurant is worn for the wear, but clean, and the food is very good. Lunch is a good value with a long list of foods. I have never been disappointed and the portions are huge.

The portion was big. My 3 year old boy liked their food, but it is too sweet for me and my husband. I'll look for other restaurants for Chinese food.

This was the first Chinese restaurant I ever ate at, and thus what I now judge all other Chinese restaurants by. Their lunches are one of the best deals you can find.

China City has been a staple restaurant for me growing up in Rome. I have eaten here for years and it still serves up the best Chinese food of them all. If Chinese is what you want then China City will satisfy your craving.

I have been eating here for many many years. Been through several owners. Luckily the food hadn't changed too much over the years. Yes it has a grungy look on the outside but I consider that part of eating Chinese all over the country. I have seen much worse in Chinatowns in New York, DC and San Fran. This place... More

This place has been in business for at least 40 years,. The building is old but has been taken care of. The food was fantastic and just a little different from most other chinese resturaunts. I would suggest you try this place if youre in Rome.

I enjoy eating at China City for lunch at least once weekly. The food is very good. this is a family run business. Service sometimes is slow but the good food and the excellent prices make up for it. Lunch service is usually a busy time and I personally have not tried dinner. I participate in the customer rewards program... More

Best chinese restaurant in town. They have a good menu and they are quick. We usually do a lot of take out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you want chinese food in Rome, you should go to China City.
