The place was recommended to us by our friends. It is the kind of the place you would probably pass by if you did not know better. Not far from I-59, (on Hwy 11, north of town) about 30 minutes south of Cloudland Canyon SP....We realy did enjoy our meal. The owners made us feel like we were regulars. Food was very good. My wife stated the greens, slaw and probably the black eye peas was the best she ever had. My peanut butter cake was excellent. My wife stated her lemon cake was again the best. They have a regular menu, plus some specials for the day. One price gives you a meat, 2 sides, dessert and drink. Portions are very good. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner (til 8). There are several BBQ trophies on display. This is almost like an oasis in the middle of no where.More

We've been to the Cornerstone numerous times and never gotten a bad meal. It's got small town charm with a great kitchen to back it up. Food is always fresh and the owners are always onsight. You can't get a better meal for the price.

After 14 days on the road we were fortunate to find this gem in Rising Fawn, GA. Sunday lunch was chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with gravy and a vegetable, Service was attentive and food arrived in good time, delicious and piping hot. The...hosts were friendly, not pushy and made it easy to enjoy talking with them. We visited the tea room and admired various tea pots and China sets. Would love to go back one day and will make a point of driving there when on another road trip!More

wonderful little restaurants. Will not be at last. The hamburgers are made fresh to order and absolutely delicious. I thought about the fried chicken, so when I was done with my buger they brought me a chicken leg so I could taste what I didn't...order. Yummmmm, these people know what they are doing in the kitchen. We spent some time talking with the owner, so friendly and welcoming. If you are within 50 miles of this place make sure you stop you won't be sorry and trust me you will go back.More

What a delightful place! We sat outdoors on the patio and had lunch. The servings were generous and our chosen dishes were very good. They were great about my husband's allergies. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

They have turned the old Depot Diner location into the Cornerstone. Kent and Penny Bangs Huff are the hands on owners and are providing great food at a reasonable price. Kent is in the kitchen putting his spin on old favorites. Catfish was incredible and...the Saturday special of chicken and dressing was so good!. I hope the locals as well as out of towners help them succeed. They are definitely just what Rising Fawn needs. Just be patient as they are still working out the kinks as all new businesses do.More
