We stumbled on this Bar-B-Joint while traveling down I 95 in a search for something different than fast food. It's a small restaurant along side a gas/mini mart station. When you get out of the car you smell Bar-B- Q and it gets better from there. It's good old fashion southern fare! I had the pulled pork plate with sides... More

What a surprise gem for us. Stopped here on way back from Amelia Island because I wanted some barbecue. We pulled up and were hesitate as it was sandwiched between gas stations and didn't seem to have any activity. Knowing a shiny facade doesn't guarantee kick-butt food, we went in and were warmly created by staff and the owner, who... More

Tiny place located next to a gas station. Great pulled pork sandwiches. Not much on atmosphere, reasonable prices.

Wow! Wasn't sure what to expect, but I was thoroughly impressed with the food. That sliced brisket is some of the best I've had in the Savannah area. I'll be back soon!

Yes it's in the BP gas station, but the BBQ is worth the visit. Full range of BBQ (though no sausage) and 5 flavors of BBQ sauce. We ate the pulled pork, brisket and the baby backed ribs, all done to perfection and very flavorful. Watching their clientele come into the restaurant, it must be liked by the locals. Good... More

What a great find, thanks to Trip Advisors' reviews. Don't let the location in a gas station fool you - this is some seriously good stuff. BBQ pork and chicken were both good. Our sides were Cole slaw, Mac/cheese, potato salad, and baked beans. The owner came out to check on us and brought my husband a sample of the... More
