We ate at the Fish Tales restaurant on the 5th November and were greeted warmly and got an outside table. The staff are very friendly and informative in describing the food and beer that is on offer. There is ample parking by the restaurant and across the road. We had some excellent food and beer and had a great evening.... More

It's quite a way off the beaten track but this busy waterside restaurant/bar serves good food. We had the fish au gratin and shrimp po'boys (hot and tasty) followed by key lime pie and salted caramel cheesecake, washed down with a couple of draft beers. We sat outside and listened to an eclectic selection of 60s and 70s music. Great... More

Visiting my daughter in Richmond Hill, she recommended going to Fish Tales. I ordered the peel and eat shrimp, some of the best I've had, fresh from local waters. Worth the drive.

Fish Tales is trying to be too much like a sit-down casual dining restaurant and bar versus a good local authentic dockside seafood restaurant. I was very surprised to not see flounder, trout, and other fresh local caught fish. The best thing we had was the lightly fried tuna appetizer. The fried fish was frozen Swai versus something local. The... More

Nice outside hang for a beer. Food is average and the staff very friendly. We had a nice breeze to add to our experience.

We ate there on Tuesday night. What a disappointment. We had eaten there several times in the Spring of 2015 and liked it very much. This time the food was only so-so. The service was lacking. My friend ordered the she-crab soup. It did not come until the salads came. I ordered a Caesar Salad and to my surprise I... More

I've been here multiple times because of the great view this restaurant has. It is situated right off of the marina and if you get a window seat you get to see a great marsh scene. The food is just OK, nothing special. They do have good happy hour specials; we come here sometimes after work. Will probably go back-... More

Hey Julie, So sorry you had a bad food experience. We try to keep the menu simple but great. Would you say that the selection of menu items is the problem for you or the actual taste of our food? The more detailed information we have the better chance to fix our issues. Thanks so much for coming by and... More

...place to go in RH for low country boil. Great water views, and the crab cake sandwich is always a favorite too.

We love the atmosphere out at their tiki bar. The marina and outdoor eating go along with the whole Fish Tales experience. There are tons of choices on the menu and the food is great!
