Well the food wasn't good. the service wasn't good. It seemed that the people who were only drinking were happy, and if we skipped the food we probably would have been happier too.

I DO recommend Molly’s food and their bartender John… but came up here on a Sunday evening hoping to see John behind the bar, but he was not here. INSTEAD I witnessed the ENTIRE FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF be racists!! The entire bar and tables...had solely white patrons, there was only ONE table of two non-white gentlemen while I was there. Granted the service I got as white female was poor to say the least, I at least had service at my table. These two gentleman were IGNORED THE ENTIRE TIME THEY WERE THERE! They had to go to the bar to get their first drink, asked for menus which were NEVER brought. My entire table had been served two drinks AND food prior to me bringing this issue to the bartender who was “acting manager” of the front of house. These gentlemen had not once been spoken to by a single waitress. Mind you there are MAYBE 6 tables inside and two outside… yet they couldn’t manage to even CHECK on these two gentlemen?? Not ONCE? The bartenders excuse was that the gentlemen had opened tabs at the bar so the servers didn’t feel responsible for the table INSTEAD, according to the bartender it was the two gentlemen’s responsibility to approach the bar each time they wanted to order something…. How is it the gentlemen’s responsibility to GET SERVED at a place of business with SERVERS because NO ONE would approach their table prior to them approaching the bar??? When I approached the bartender he was rude and dismissive about the entire situation stating that it wasn’t racist? How else is that to be perceived??? I personally know one of the gentlemen that was at the table, as I have served him as a bartender myself and he brought this to my attention while I was there and I will not ignore the fact that he was mistreated by the servers and disrespected by the bartender. I personally feel bad for not noticing the disrespect myself, but as I said I did bring this to the staffs attention. The service staff at this location needs to learn to DO BETTER!!! It’s no surprise that these two men were the only non white patrons in the bar.More

This restaurant is a hidden GEM in Georgia! This is my second time visiting, a different location than the first. The pot pie and Shepard’s pie are delicious, so is the monkey bread! I had a salad as well that was very good. Prices were...great too! $12 for this giant pot pie. The food is very authentic and homemade tasting, you feel like you are in Scotland. Definitely will be back!More

Stopped for late lunch here. We had enjoyed another molly’s in Georgia on an earlier trip. This location was sad. There were three diners when we arrived. My husband ordered a turkey sandwich that looked nice and he enjoyed. I ordered the cheese platter. The...platter had grapes, sliced strawberries, and sliced green apple. The crackers were nice, but the baked Brie was topped with what the menu called Whiskey Sauce. I asked our server what the topping was, she didn’t know so she went to the kitchen and asked. When she came back she told us it was some kind of a brown sugar sauce they serve. It was not brown sugar. It was not whiskey. It WAS awful. I didn’t eat it. The menu price is $9. They charged us $12. Ugh. Managers/or owner didn’t care or address us. No one said good bye. Nothing. Spend your money somewhere else that your hard earned dollars will be appreciated and hopefully have a better experience.More

We had fish and chips. What looked like a HUGE piece of fish was actually more batter than fish. Extremely doughy and greasy. Our waiter must have been new because we had to walk him through every step, including silverware. We likely won't return. However,...the pear cider was excellent!More

We ate here this evening. I ordered the haddock sandwich and it was extremely salty. Greasy fries. I went back to the hotel and ate some carrot sticks to try to reverse the hypertension I am probably developing from that dinner. I overheard another diner...complaining about the salt, so it wasn't just me. Husband said his meal was just ok, and my child said her Mac and cheese were really greasy. Another thing...where we were seated smelled heavily of pine Sol or some other cleanser. Yum, cleanser and haddock. I guess at least they are cleaning?? I don't know, average rating might be generous, but everyone was nice and the service was fast.More

Very good food and atmosphere. A little loud and needs a bigger space but overall a positive experience.

There was a trivia contest going on when we arrived, unfortunately, we got there in the end, it sounded fun! We played darts while we waited for the food. We had fish and chips, the fish was good, but the potatoes were very greasy; my...son had the Scotch broth which was delicious! The meatloaf and bangers and mash were ok, nothing special. The service was great!More

Food is great, 10 people in our group, all were happy with their meals. Service was a bit slow, server may have been new but her knowledge of the drinks offered and her use of the electronic device used to key in order was lacking....She really needed some assistance from a better informed server for our large group, so that part took forever to get right. There were others chatting in a group around the bar area who should have helped but they didn't. That being said, the meals saved the day, they were all great, compliments to our chef!More

First of all, the food was good.I will give them that, I had ordered the sampler appetizer with the Scottish eggs. The waitress took our order and later came back to tell me that they no longer carried that, I had been given an old...menu.I then ordered the burger and sweet potato fries. When our food came and the waitress proceeded to tell me that they had just ran out of sweet potato fries with the last order, but she substituted with regular fries. Now , they were good, at least they weren't mushy crinkle fries, but she should have came and asked me what I wanted as a substitute. What I wonder is, we were eating lunch on a Saturday. Why should they be out of menu items like fries? This was our second trip here. The first trip, over a year ago,we were seated and forgotten, so we left after about 10 minutes of waiting for someone to take drink orders. There are too many options in Pooler for sorry service.More

We had a very nice meal. NO wait at all, we were seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. I love English food and this was right up there as one the truly good foods. We had scotch eggs(yum) sausage rolls(we were surprised they were cut...up) real English sausages though... For our meal we had fish and chips and they were great. Our waitress was very attentive and came to our table multiple times. Highly recommend if you love English, Scottlish food..More

If we did not live in the area and knew how good the Richmond Hill location is, we would never return to any Molly MacPherson’s. We waited an hour for our food and when it finally showed up it was lukewarm and there was a...chicken wing bone in my fries. Except I ordered fish not chicken. Don’t waste your time.More
