I am a regular and if what we know about being regular is that the food, the customer service, pleasantries are always evolving. Best food and service in town. I actually drive about 40 minutes to get sushi weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Sushi's always fresh-ALWAYS!!!! If there is an error then be nice and they will correct it-don't be belligerent. Listen carefully and you will hear what they are saying-PAY ATTENTION! I am saying all this because we have overheard people being mean or not so nice to these lovely folks and they remain cordial. All in all their prices are fair and presently with Covid they are ensuring that everyone is safe. BTW, they have hibachi :)

This is a small one owner restaurant with a Sushi Bar with nice ambiance and service. They have a good selection of wine, the portions are very generous, and the sushi and sushi rolls prices are good too. They also have a few hibachi grills if yo with a big group or family and be pampered by the chef. Thy also have a nice lunch menu with Bento boxes. Restaurant closes from 2:30 to 4:30.

Very good food and value. Expertly prepared and superbly presented. Always looking for best Sushi in the Fayette County area including Tyrone, Peachtree City and Fayetteville and this one rates very highly.

My husband and I have been to Mr. Fuji's twice in the past month for the hibachi dinner. Both times, the food was delicious, and we had leftovers each time. And Benjamin is quite the entertainer! We'll be going back for sure.

The wait staff are wonderful. The chefs are entertaining and very good at what they do. They make the whole experience fun. All the food was delicious. Our large family group of 10 sat together around the hibachi grill.
The first course was a broth soup.
The second corse was an iceberg lettuce salad.
Some of the group ordered sushi which was deliciously amazing.
The shrimp, chicken, and salmon hibachi meals with fried rice were delicious. The portions are so large that most people cannot eat it all. You can share a meal with a child easily. (And leftovers make a nice lunch the next day.)
One person in our party was celebrating a birthday. At the end of the meal they brought him a large piece of batter dipped fried cheesecake with a candle in it and sang to him.
One caution: the specialty Japanese bottled beers are $15 each, which seemed really expensive.

In my opinion, this is the BEST sushi out of the five in PTC with Ginza being a very close second. Green Ginger Asian, Kobe, Sushi Tomi are all very good. Ichiban is bar far the worst. Chef Benjamin is terrific at Mr. Fuiji.

Benjamin, aka Mr. Fuji, wears many hats. He may greet you at the door and direct you to your seat. Then Flash! He’s at the Hibachi Grill, twirling knives and flipping food, like Edward Scissorhands. Seconds later he’s lighting the onion volcano with a Cheshire cat grin.
I look up from my sushi menu, and Flash! He’s making fancy rolls at the sushi bar. If I were to peek into the kitchen, I'm sure I'd see him washing dishes and mopping the floor. Like Mighty Mouse, he's everywhere, he's everywhere!
I’m not kidding, I’ve never seen a restaurant owner falling all over to please his customers like Mr. Fuji. He pesters you the entire time because he wants everyone happy with their meal, and it starts when you walk into his little unassuming place between Target and Kroger’s in Kedron Village, Peachtree City. Don’t be surprised if the staff remembers your name and what you ate last time.
Mr. Fuji, has just about the freshest and best tasting sushi anywhere. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere lively. It's customary to see three generations at one table, and Benjamin engaging with all of them.
It’s a popular place, especially for lunch with daily specials for hibachi, sushi, bento boxes and Benjamin’s Choice all moderately priced. There’s a variety of tasty appetizers you normally will not see at other sushi restaurants ranging from Oyster Tempura and Seven Spice Calamari to Soft Shell Crab and Salted Squid.
The Sushi Bar has fish delivered almost daily making it among the freshest in West Georgia. He has rolls for beginners and rolls for sushi aficionados. I like the Dynamite Roll with Salmon, asparagus and crab deep fried in a creamy wasabi sauce and the Lobster Tempura Roll with fresh lobster, spicy kani, avocado and masago wrapped in soybean paper. The Green Tea and Red Bean Ice Cream is the real thing.
The place for entertainment and fun, however, is at the hibachi tables with over two dozen combination choices featuring, chicken, scallops, lobster, salmon, calamari and filet mignon. Benjamin won’t let you leave hungry.
Mr. Fuji, open every day, does carry outs and will deliver too, every night from opening to at least 9 pm, and Flash! I wouldn’t be surprised if Mr. Fuji makes the delivery himself!

Really great food. Service was extremely pleasant. Food was amazing. This is the place to go for some good sushi and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice, cozy and also set for a romantic mood with its low lighting and very nicely decorated space. They also offer hibachi meals. So if you have not tried Mr Fuji, now may be a great time to stop on in!

We enjoy Mr. Fuji Japanese Steakhouse - we are always cheerfully greeted by staff and find the food consistently tasty. The staff works hard to make your visit a successful dining experience. The menu is what you would expect and the food is very good. We enjoy both lunch and dinner meals at Mr. Fuji and find consistenly this is a good restaurant choice.

Me and my husband love Japanese cuisine, as we spent long years in Asia. A week ago we went for lunch in this restaurant. We ordered sushi - cucumber rolls and salmon rolls, chicken teriyaki and noodles. Cucumber rolls were falling apart, and dry, they definitely were made well in advance and served us. Rice was tasteless. Salmon sushi were better, at least, fish was very fresh, but still rice in it was falling apart and tasteless.
Chicken teriyaki was all of a sudden dry boiled chicken breast cut in pieces and tossed in teriyaki sauce. Seriously? Is this the way you cook teriyaki chicken?
Noodles were ok, no big problem.
Without tips our check was 36 dollars.
Bottom line - if you understand something in Japanese cuisine, don't go. I'm sure if you are used to Western type Japanese food with lots of Mayo and Philadelphia cheese in your sushi, it will help to hide taste and texture of rice, but if you are looking for simplicity and freshness of real Japanese food...NO!

Friend service from the sushi chef Benjamin. Excellent specialty rolls that are HUGE! Not sure what to get? Try out their lunar roll for cooked or country boy for raw.

This is the best sushi in PTC, hands down. Benjamin the owner will put down what he is doing and trip over himself to greet you. Their menu is great, and the hibachi express is an incredible deal.
They recently renovated the restaurant and it is beautiful. We eat here often & love it.

Welcome to THE best sushi restaurant around. Not only is the sushi top-grade and fresh, the presentation is awesome. Think "Chef Nobu" - really! AMAZING!! Be sure to try the specials -- everything from Benjamin's special rolls which are tasty and huge and a meal in themselves (!) to the daily sushi and sashimi specials presented by Benjamin, like stripped bass or yellowtail in ponzu sauce (see pic) - melts in your mouth! ENJOY!
