Our visit started out poorly and gradually got worse before it got better. We had reservations, but still had to wait almost an hour to be seated. Our server had a hard time understanding simple requests and seemed very distracted. When the soft drinks arrived, they were all bad - all of them (root beer, Sprite, Coke Zero). It seems that they had little to no syrup in the carbonated water. Our server didn't understand, so everyone just got water. Oh, and three of the glasses that she brought to us were cracked - three! Then Manuel showed up. He was our chef. He was entertaining, kind, got all the orders correct and made the remainder of our night fantastic. The food was really good, too. So, one star for the service and organization; five stars for the chef and the food. You kind of need to decide if the food will be worth the hassle.

The hibachi was above average. Our particular chef was friendly and engaging. The server seemed inexperienced but nice. There were many families with children, including us on this night. It seems like a laid back place for families. Not upscale, but decent. There is a separate dining area with tables and booths, and a bar in case you're not into the hibachi style show.

This was our first time at Kobe, we just moved to the area. Chef Ray was fantastic. He was funny, entertaining, and the food was great. We really enjoyed our evening and cannot wait to go back. We will certainly ask for Chef Ray again! **Note to guests, stay off your cell phone. Engage. Relax. Have fun! It is worth it!

I just want to warn anyone that is thinking about dining at Kobe anytime soon. I don't normally leave bad reviews as my husband is a business owner, however, I am beyond upset right now. We had a horrible dining experience there. A new cook cooked for our table and he was subpar to say the least. The food was absolutely flavorless, over cooked, and the entire table complained to management. They forgot half our daughter's food. They had to have another cook remake our rice and cook her hibachi noodles. The meat was horrible and flavorless too but they didn't offer to remake the protein at the other table. We didn't eat the meals and asked to pay for what we had consumed. The owner dug through each individual plate with a fork to try to make the price be as much as it would have cost for the actual meal. This occured once I refused a recook from the kitchen after waiting 20+ minutes. My son ate 1 shrimp and refuse to eat anymore but we were charged for a side of shrimp for him. My daughter ate my shrimp because she was starving and her steak was beyond AWFUL. The rice that we were charged for was left on the table. I will never argue with someone publicly and embarrass myself over a meal. However, I am beyond upset with the owner itemizing a receipt to make us pay for food that we didn't consume. The cook told the table that it was his first day and it unfortunately showed. The owner could have handle the situation much differently. The cook actually handed seasoning (seasoning shakers and garlic container) to customers to add flavor to their food but they didn't care. I have to actually feed my family dinner now and I paid $96 for nothing. I have never received such poor customer service. We have been loyal customers for years but will not be returning. Just beware of the new cooks that lack training and poor customer service.

Poorest seating and too expensive for what you get. I waiting for 45 minutes after my called in reservation time, while seeing walk in's being seated before us. Food is way to expensive for what you receive. Fried rice suggested to all and at an extra charge. I never received my steamed rice until at end of meal at my request. Will not return there ever again. I have experienced must better service and cheaper prices and better food at other Japanese grill establishments in other states.

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch this past weekend, it was SO good! Anytime I come down to the Atlanta area I make it a point to come eat here! I paid $33 plus tip for 2 full meals. Filet and shrimp was cooked to perfection.

Terrible Minus 25 if I could rate it that way. See YELP and restaurant FB site review. We arrived for reservations. Hostess unorganized and rude. The person who made reservations arrived and we were to be seated by people spread out in more than designated plate areas and on phones. We refused that seating and were placed nicely by the grill so we could enjoy dinner and presentation. We ordered beverages and meals. Server rather distracted and not very interested in us. We then were asked by the young rude hostess (9/8/2019 5 pm) to move over to accommodate more people. We said no. She began to argue. We moved over and actually then were pushed to where serving dishes were placed next to us. NOT appealing at all. The people arrived and even pushed us more. Hostess left and really had no care we were displaced. We left. No customer service or care that we were upset and displaced. recommend training of front of house staff and firing of that rude non caring hostess. It made us very upset. Will never return. Hope others will not put up with this abuse as a customer. Bet the manager never even cares to read or fix the issue. Actually cleaning out front of the house and either retraining or firing them could improve the rude and not caring behavior we experienced.

I love sushi and Kobe JSH has some of the best around this area ... particularly during happy hour when things are 1/2 price. We try and go here as often as we can and try to meet friends here for dinner as often as possible. Want to eat like a local check out Kobe.

I always enjoy eating here at this Peachtree City restaurant. The food is always hot and fresh. I had the hibachi chicken with fried rice. I also had the lettuce wrap with the yummy sauce. Friendly waiter.

Great Japanese food and great food period. Very nice location and very clean and quite inside. Service is very helpful with ordering if you are not into Japanese food. After eating at Kobe I am into Japanese food.

My family of four had dinner here for the hibachi experience and it was great! We made a reservation, 5:30 on a Saturday, and were seated promptly on arrival. The service was efficient and friendly. Our chef was a bit subdued, compared to other chefs we heard around us, but our food was delicious! The starter salad and soup were just ok...way too much dressing for the salad and the soup did not have much taste, though you sauce improved it. The grilled food was tasty, though. I had shrimp and chicken, with steamed rice and veggies, and had plenty left over to take home. All in all, a good experience!

Went here on a Friday evening for dinner. There were 3 couples in our party and we were seated immediately. The place was packed. Service was great and waitress was attentive. Everyone in our party enjoyed their entree. I had the ginger salmon with noodles and fried rice. It was really good.

We had a coupon from Kobe Japanese Steakhouse for my birthday, $30 off as long as it was for dinner, had a valid GA ID proving your birthday was within 7 days, was dine-in only, and only valid Sun - Thurs. All of the requirements were fulfilled. I asked the waiter if he needed to see the coupon before we ordered, and he said not until after the meal when he gives me the ticket. We ate, it was okay (a tad under cooked). We received the bill, I provided him with the coupon, he left to get approval from the manager. The waiter came back to say the manager said they couldn't accept it.
I asked to speak to the manager. The manager ( I will call him "R") came over, I showed him the coupon and went thru every qualification to validate that we met the criteria and showed him my license. He first said it was a Kobe Japanese Steakhouse Corporate Coupon and they do not accept those. I asked for clarification since we were eating at a Kobe Japanese Steakhouse and I got the coupon from their website. He looked at it again, and said it wasn't their coupon despite it saying "Kobe Japanese Steakhouse" (It did not say 'only valid at a certain location) He continued to argue with me and refused to honor their coupon. (note: no expiration date on the coupon)
When it came time for some of the staff to come out to sing Happy Birthday, they sang, then my daughter (adult) said "I just don't understand why you honor your own coupon" I looked at her and said (pointing the manager), "You can't help people like that" the manager responded (looking at me with an evil look ) "Ditto"
The manager is a real jerk. Arguing with the customer and refusing their own coupon !

Friday Feb. 1, 2019 Arrived today for lunch with the family 3 minutes after their lunch cut-off time and was told it was too late for lunch and basically go away. They have their rules and I have a new rule.......I'll never go back. They lost my family's business forever and we watched them turn away 4 groups of people right after we got back in the car. Wait till this happens to you at Kobe in PTC and you'll understand how I feel.
