I have been going to breakfast at JR's for over 30 years. Although they also serve lunch and dinner. I have only had breakfast there for the past 25+ years. When I lived in north Atlanta, I went to JR's every Sunday morning, Since I moved to middle Georgia 100 miles away three years ago, I can only get to... More
If you are in this part of town there are limited places available for bbq during lunch. Jr's is a good stop getting the lunch special and a water puts you under 10 with tip. I usually go pork and the pea soup was good. I did not like the stew too tomatoey
Family and friends met for dinner at JR's for their BBQ and fixins'. It's been twenty years since last visit and it's still a comfortable place to eat. Great southern food with friendly service. Just what I remember.
Went there for lunch and the place was placed was full and moving. The wait staff was working and people were talking eating and everyone had a big smile on their face. Order Pork and sweet potato souffle and lima beans....fresh tasty and delicious. Would return for another meal anytime. Heard the breakfast was out of sight...need to try it... More
Jr's has been in the Norcross and Duluth area for as long as I can remember. I have gone there primarily for breakfast for years for one single reason - their breakfast menu is everything you want in a traditional American breakfast. Eggs, biscuits, hash browns anyway you want them, grits, chicken and gravy, pancakes, waffles and coffee. Service is... More
We have eaten breakfast and lunch here and both were fabulous. Great food and large portions. Staff is friendly and attentive. The BBQ Sandwich was fantastic and then BBQ beans are amazing. Great value for the offerings!!
This is a plain, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant. My husband claims The Brunswick Stew is the best he has ever eaten. The veggies are always good, especially the sweet potatoes. The all you can eat ribs melt off the bone, the chicken is smoky and moist. Service is quick and theprices very reasonable.
I was in Norcross and decided to stop in to an old haunt. I had the pork plate with Brunswick stew. The pork was bland and the stew kept me up with heartburn. A sad return to a place I used to really like.
