Honestly we ordered our food but 2 out of 3 of us just found it not appetizing and did not eat much. The third person finished their lunch but said "never again". It seemed like a local restaurant but food was not our thing. Just...More
The menu is southern comfort foods, from fried chicken to meat loaf and sides such as collards and Mac and cheese. The food offerings change daily. The service is cafeteria-style. The servers Make you feel like you are eating at Grandma’s. Have some of their...More
First time there, looking at what they had. Girl behind the glass makes snide remarks. It's cafeteria style. The fried chicken had no flavor. The green beans tasted awful. Potato salad was ok. Soul food out of a can. I would not recommend this establishment
While visiting the area we came across Golden’s and we are so glad we did! When we got there for lunch at 1 the line was really long. We figured everyone knew something we didn’t so we stayed- the line did not take that long....More

Golden’s is one of Newnan’s favorite dining destinations. Buffet style menu offers at least three meats, adequate seasoned vegetables, salads and desserts. One of our favorite DD (dining destinations).
Golden's is a staple on the Newnan court square. If you want home cooked food, this is the place to eat. You have a variety of meats, vegetables, salads, and desserts to choose from. The servers and waiters are very nice and helpful.

About 10 years ago this place seemed much better. Unfortunately today it is not as good. It is a pretty good value and an okay selection but the vegetables seemed poured out of a can. Neat location, just not good food anymore.

Prices vary. You can have a main dish of your choice plus one, two or three vegetables from $6 to $8 dollars. Beverage and cornbread or biscuits are included. Desserts are extra, but not very expensive.
