Facebook and Google say it's still closed, but they are finally reopened after 9 weeks of closure for quarantine. Here is our 5 star review:
We saw the restaurant sign on the highway and figured we would stop for lunch. We are so glad we...did! Miko was great with describing dishes and answering questions.
It was hard to decide. The kids had chicken nuggets (which looked and tasted fresh house made, not frozen) and mom and dad had Beef Schwarma lunch special, one with beet salad and one with Yellow lentil soup. This is enough food for a grown up.... we had also ordered "appetizers" of grapeleaves stuffed with meat and rice (dolmades) and Caprese salad and Fattouche salad. All of it was so good. The Fattouche salad was crisp fresh veggies tossed in a delectable vinaigrette style dressing- perfect for a hot summer day. It paired well with the Reisling I had, German reisling... yummy!
The bar was well stocked with a good selection, so my husband was able to get Maker's Mark on the rocks.... which almost made up for the traffic jam we faced before getting off the highway for lunch!
I was too full, sadly, to try dessert- but I did see the dessert case...and it all looked so fancy and fabulous!
My 3 year old was quite taken with the "fancy black bathroom"!
If we find ourselves in the neighborhood during business hours, we will be stopping again. I understand dinner has even more choices!
Everyone was so nice, and even gave my girls balloons- which thrilled them to no end..."Mom, they are just like kites!!!"More
