My daughters and I love Pasta Max. It has all the personality that a local small-town restaurant should have, with a chef statue out front to great you and murals of the square and historical buildings on the walls. Service was friendly and quick. The last time we went, one daughter had the chef salad, which was nothing special, but... More

I love the old building and if you eat early you'll have time to do some shopping downtown McDonough.

We chose Pasta Max for supper after a long day of driving and it was a good choice. It's very casual, with only about a dozen tables, but reservations are not necessary. The menu is primarily pasta, with some standard items, but the ingredients are very fresh and nicely done. My husband's veal Parmesan was tasty -- the pasta was... More

We met someone who was already was seated and It literally took 12-15 min to be greeted and offered something to drink. Then when the... More

Never disappointed here. The Lasagna is always homemade and the salad and rolls are awesome too! A little pricey but you get a nice portion. I generally have enough to take home. May be a way during dinner hour but it's worth it. Restaurant is a staple in down town McDonough. You must try it if in the area.

Pasta max is a must for the real Italian food lover. Fresh made pasta , fabulous seafood specials. The vegetable risoto is out of this world. They don't have a bad item on the menu. The garlic rolls to accent the meals are just incredible. I try and eat there at least once a week.
