We arrived and were first told by the waitress that they were very busy and the food might take a while. The place had about 20 customers at most and probably would have held at least 120 if fully occupied. Three of our party of 8 ordered the all you can eat catfish fillets and when the food came out... My wife were fortunate enough to eat here on an evening that wasn't terribly crowded. I had the fried catfish, which came in a light flaky batter, cooked properly. The mashed potatoes were real and delicious. My wife tried the dumplings and really enjoyed them. As big as the restaurant is, I'm sure it gets quite hectic on busy days,... More

The place was jammed when we finally got in there. One person was taking the money and there was no one to seat us. We took the initiative and seated ourselves. The menu is set. Chicken strips-catfish-chicken fried steak and vegetables. Our server took our order and we waited and waited some more. Ordinarily this would not be a problem.... More

We jumped in their van waiting at the train station and took the 5 minute ride to the restaurant. Driver was great, by the way. Ordered fried pickles which were homemade and yummy. Also tried the chicken and dumplings- it was good, but heavy. Also had a homemade biscuit that made me want to learn how to make them! Probably... More

All homemade food. We went to a barbecue place earlier in the day and it was reheated food from walmart. So, at this place I kept asking is it homemade?? Everything was homemade. Served at tables but pretty much designed for buffet style. Food and service great….. but buffet style.

Delicious home cooked meals. Family style is always an option. The selection are many. Personally you can not beat the chicken fried steak or the pork chops - both of which pair well with the homemade biscuits and jelly.

Have been a few times and everything is the best. Pinto beans and cream corn are fantastic. Also the chicken and dumplings are very good. Went with a group of four and everyone loved the food. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant.

We have eaten here several times. We love the fried catfish! It's dipped in a secret recipe buttermilk batter. The vegetables are good as well. They serve dessert, however we can't vouch for it since we didn't partake.

Food was good, not great but a 1/4 pound burger hard to make it "great". Wife had catfish, she enjoyed it. Sister in law had burger too and wanted it rare, got it medium well. But that small a patty hard to cook rare. Overall, we were all pleased and would go again, and again, and again.
