The sushi was expertly prepared and very fresh. The Thai dishes had wonderful flavor. The restaurant is clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately they lack in the service department; dirty dishes were never cleared, and we were ignored for much of the duration of our meal by our server.

You've gotta do sushi here when in Atlanta, crazy good eats. Atmosphere is good but food is ridiculous. Enjoy!

3 of us ate on a Monday evening. Service was pretty quick. Apps we got included California roll and basil rolls. Both excellent and fresh. My son and I ordered spicy basil leaf entree. Fantastic. Husband got green curry and also loved it. Perfect portions and awesome taste.

Had a chance to eat lunch here. Menu carried sushi, sashimi, and Thai dishes. Opted for plate of sashimi and sushi roll. Food was good, Svc was good. Place was very busy. Initially seated next to entrance, very loud. We were moved to a room off to the side because our group expanded and it was much quieter. Something to... More

We've been eating at Thaicoon for almost 14 years. Always friendly and always delicious. We love to sit at the bar and watch the action. The railroad provides extra entertainment as this establishment is right along side a busy track. The room shakes, newbies gasp and then its all back to normal.

If you search for good sushi or Thai cuisine around ATL, you'll feel the need to drive downtown or even to Gwinnett county. If you're on the north west side of ATL, outside the perimeter, don't make the drive. This place has a decent selection of sushi, and I haven't had a bad roll yet. "Fresh" should describe any sushi...otherwise... More

I got the sushi combination for two, and it was alright. Definitely not the best sushi I've ever had. I believe this place is better known for its Thai food though. Service was speedy and the atmosphere was nice.

We have been coming here for probably about 10 years now, and the food is consistently tasty, service has always been good, and everything is reasonably priced.

Thaicoon has a varied menu, and the food is excellent. All of the panang dishes are delicious, and their sushi chefs are topnotch. I like that they have a large selection of cooked sushi, too, as I don't eat raw fish. Also, the sushi portions are big enough to be a meal if you add a ginger salad. The Tom... More

Sushi was very good - I did not like the ginger salad, it seemed watery. They have both Sushi and Tai menus. We were there for Mothers Day and saw many families and children there.
