I’m very picky about my BBQ. This is a good spot. You may not think it because it’s in a strip mall, but it’s quality stuff. The sides are tasty and the pulled pork is delicious. Great sweet tea as well. Highly recommended.

I love the pulled pork, fried okra and fried sweet potatoes. They have about every bbq sauce imaginable. The restaurant is very casual and does lots of take out orders. The employees are helpful and efficient. I have been told that the ribs are wonderful, maybe next time.

I could smell their cooking across the street and had to come by! Glad I did!
The pork sandwich was heaping with meat and absolutely delicious!
Even the green beans were great!
Well worth the $9 for the lunch special!
Check it out! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Chicken was dry, it was only enjoyable because of the sweet bbq sauce, which was average. The corn on a cob had no flavor and was mushy. The only thing that was good was the fries.
My aunt ordered the beef brisket, the brisket was too fatty and dry. Grandma complained of lack of seasoning among the plates.
Prices as well are outrageous, who spends 20 dollars for 10 tenders, plus 3.50 to make it a combo?? Spending over 10 dollars for 1/2 a brisket or 1/2 a chicken, or 22 dollars for a sampler plate. 😑
I won't be trying this place again😒😒

I'm a BBQ snob so I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I got the 3 meat platter with mac and cheese and Brunswick stew. The stew was on the sweet side and tasted strongly of BBQ sauce but I liked it. The mac and cheese had great flavor. The pulled pork was good as was the chicken. The ribs were a tad fatty but pretty solid anyway. The selection of BBQ sauces was enormous and each one was pretty good. I really enjoyed the Alabama white and the smokey sauce. I'd go back.

I had gotten a flyer in the mail and since I was in the mood I decided to give it a try.
Ordering at counter was quick and efficient.
Time to receive the food was not long.
It was a "to go" order.
2 smoked pulled pork sandwiches.
1 Brunswick stew
So far as the sauces there was a separate spot where you make your selection into a small cup. Lids available. Wide variety of sauces.
I should note the sandwich is on Texas sized toast. Not a bun.
I will stop in again!

We went to Smitty's for the 2nd time today. I had a half rack of tender meaty ribs that we're delicious as we're the potato salad and collards. My wife enjoyed the turkey and we appreciated getting toast that was not overpowered with garlic. They have a large selection of different BBQ sauce and it is easy to find a good sauce. Friendly and quick service. Only drawback is the traffic and lack of an arrow for southbound traffic trying to turn left at the light. We will be back for more.

I ordered food to go at the counter. Cute decor, bbq sauce bar with multiple choices. Took a little longer than I expected to get food. Live wiithin 2 miles, when we sat down to eat, the beans were very hot, bbq was luke warm and corn on the cobb was cold. It all tasted very good tho after I warmed it up.

We have now been to this restaurant 3 times and each time is has been consistently amazing! and YES we drove all the way from Newnan, Georgia to Marietta just to eat this mouthwatering BBQ. I can't tell you enough just how great this food is, and the desserts, OMG!!! please just do yourself and your mouth along with your belly a favor and go eat at this place. We are big foodies and have driven to South Carolina and Tennessee just to eat good barbecue, of course that was before we found and fell in love with Smitty's Lockdown.

While enjoying Panama City Beach, we went looking for the best local eating establishments. Lots of cars in front means good food inside. Massive salad bar was excellent. We shared a full slab of baby back ribs that were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The decor was a tribute to our Air Force and Naval Aviators! Military aircraft models hung from the ceiling in every available space. Wow - I felt like standing up and saluting!

My wife and I tried Smitty's Lockdown for the first time this week and were impressed with the quality of the ribs, the baked beans, the broccoli, and the bread side. The atmosphere was a little quirky with the whole jail kind of theme going on. But it was a great place to grab some reasonably priced local BBQ. The tea is also very sweet. The only dig on the place was that the pulled chicken my wife ordered didn't have much smoky flavor. The sauces are great, especially the sweet and also the smoky.
