I made a reservation last weekend for a party of 15 to celebrate my daughters baby shower. I reserved a private room and put down a deposit for the room. I was surprised that the owner refused to give me written confirmation of my reservation. So I called multiple times the week before to confirm I would get a private... More

My daughter and I went to Madison for a day trip to shop and have tea at this establishment. We made reservations in advance as the website instructed. When we arrived we were told they were running behind, and the owner suggested we go shop next door until they were ready. As we had been shopping for 2 hours in... More

A great Mothers day gift with my two daughters. I loved the hats and decorations. We will be coming back often. And the service was very special.

If you like tea rooms you will love this place. The owner is gracious and the staff very pleasant. Personally, I feel you go to this type of place for the experience with friends, more than for the food. You get served a tray with several tier plates with very small, bite size portions of several tea sandwiches. Definitely not... More

My husband and I visited Madison some weeks ago and went to the tea room. We were told that they could not accommodate us as their was no reservations were available. The restaurant was empty except for a table of ten women. The owner was very rude and stated that they are the largest tea room in Georgia but without... More

When you enter the building, you immediately feel you are someplace special. The atmosphere is friendly and peaceful. The food was amazing. If you think that "tea style " finger sandwiches and nibbles including fresh fruit, quiche, and scones followed by dessert might not be filling enough for a satisfying lunch, as my husband feared, I'm pleased to say that... Reservations are definitely recommended. Although the day was gray and rainy all day, the Madison Tea Room and Garden cheered us up with the bright and airy ambiance, the pleasant welcome and the good natured servers. We accidentally showed up an hour before our reservation but fortunately there was an empty table and so we were able to be served... More

We've been wanting to stop here for a while, and finally did, for my birthday. It's big, bright & beautiful. We received a very friendly greeting by the owner, and then were invited to choose from the wide range of fancy hats for the true southern tea room experience. The servers were all very attentive and friendly. The tea &... More

At the top, be sure to correct your GPS for this fine establishment; it is actually located at 200 W. Washington Street, Madison, GA. They are now in a large brick building across from a park in the town. Our reason for going to the Madison Tea Room was for our daughter's eighth birthday. And while we took a chance,... More

You must see this place! The pictures on here are of the "old" tea house! The new one that was just opened is incredible! Perfect venue for a nice lunch, reception or banquet!
