If it is game day you know Dawgs football come early or you will be waiting a while. Lovely place to sit and enjoy the downtown comings and goings of lovely Madison GA. Lovely place to eat with a menu to please the palate.

We love Madison and nearly every trip we take there (which is only 15 miles away from home) we usually always stop at the Chop House. The staff is alwasy friendly, the atmosphere is very laid back and the food is always good and hot. The Reuben and fried green tomatoes are always at the top of our list.

Usually stop here in bike rides when we go through Madison. Sometimes the food is great and sometimes is bad. Beer is cold and service is average. Great little town and good location to stop. Average price but would flounder if it was in a comparative market.

My wife and I took a chance as we travelled through Madison GA on this restaurant. It turned out to be a great choice. We had the Chop House Bunless with mixed vegetables which was lots of meat and grilled veggies. I would get this again. My wife got the French Dip with garlic mashed potatoes which was very tasty.... Pretty straight forward grill.....full bar, good hamburgers, prime rib, and fried catfish. Not gourmet by any means, but doesn't try to be. Very reasonable prices, and always good service from kids who try hard.

Really nice place. Good food pleasant service. Very well populated. My husband had a Reuben sandwich which he loved. It was huge. We ate so much that we didn't have room for dessert!

The Menu has a eclectic variety of items, hard choice to pick sumptuous meal, settled on an appetizer for a meal, Nacho's drizzled with barbeque sauce and lots of jalapenos, pico de Gallo, guaqamoli, sour cream and chicken breast with queso on the side.

We had a very friendly and attentive server. The fried green tomato sandwich and chicken salad sandwich were both freshly prepared. We actually thought this was above average for a quick lunch but not enough for a Very Good rating
