The food is good. Service is good, atmosphere is nice. By Locust Grove standards I guess it is good but still overpriced. By any other standard it is simply a little better than average. Not what it used to be.

We walked in and were greeted very nice. We sat at the small bar waiting on the rest of our party. No one to make a drink, the bartender was waiting on tables. That was the best of our experience. P.S. now under new management !!!

Nice atmosphere, great food & dining setting, music. Our host was very helpful @ will come back soon. Ordered gumbo, shrimp & grits & country pork chop w/biscuits. Let's not forget boudin balls.

This was our 3rd visit to the French Market. This time I had the chicken Chinese salad, and my husband had the Cuban sandwich. We both thought our choices were very good. The salad is very large and contains grilled chicken, almonds, chow mien noodles, cranberries, etc., in a dressing with just a touch of heat. Kelli's tea is very... More

We've stopped at The French Market twice after returning to Atlanta from South Georgia. The food is delicious, and the servers are attentive and friendly. Today, I ordered the Cesar salad with grilled chicken, and my boyfriend tried the catfish and grits. Both dishes were tasty and quite filling. I highly recommend The French Market, and I am looking forward... More

Good atmosphere and thoughtful design with a cute gift shop at the entrance. Our waiter, Bryan, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the Sriracha Maple Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, which were savory with just the right amount of heat. They came with some garlic bread perfect for dipping into the extra Sriracha glaze. I had Tom's... More

Nice atmosphere although noisy room, good service . The gumbo was awful as well as ( perhaps canned) beans the chief should go to New Orleans and taste the real thing. Don't expect dinner rolls because they are not served. The fish was heavenly blackened making it difficult to taste the the fish which we think was potentially good. Pricey... More

I was with three other people and we decided to have lunch at the French Market. It was a little ways from the interstate but well worth the extra time. The gumbo was excellent. The salad was delicious and the shrimp po boy was memorable. I recommend the French Market strongly.

The town of Locust Grove did not sound very promising as a culinary destination when I visited my nephew there who is in the drum corps of Spirit of Atlanta this summer. I was genuinely delighted find myself at this cafe for lunch that day. The ambiance was rural chic and inviting. The retail market didn't distract from the cafe... More

I stopped by with a friend for some coffee and cheesecake. We had a great time, the atmosphere was very relaxing. There is a variety of desserts as well as drinks. Also the French market has a cute little shopping area in the front of the store.
