This is our second visit, by chance.-Next time will be intentional! I knocked it down one star only because they didn’t have enough wait staff. The Angelo’s special pizza (everything!) is excellent. Perfectly dough, perfectly prepared, not too much sauce or cheese. The very cheap...wine was surprisingly drinkable. The individual mixed salads were decent sized. Friendly, cozy atmosphere.More

Great place for FRESH, tasty food, and great prices. They serve you in a timely fashion and the staff is very friendly. Popular with the locals and for good reason. Do yourself a favor and eat there. I was en route to FL and looking...for a dinner nearby my motel and I am so glad I came here.More

Excellent and filling portions. Wait staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. I had the Crazy Italian and my husband had the ravioli. This is not a large restaurant and I am not sure if they accept reservations. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is not a fine dining restaurant, but the food is just as good. Our hotel recommended it as the top restaurant, and I believe them now. Really good prices, very attentive and friendly wait staff. A massive bowl of bread served free with every...meal. We enjoyed the Lasagna, and the Spaghetti & Sausage entrees. We did not try it, but our neighbors had a wonderful looking pizza.More

The place is good, the service is good, the prices are reasonable. But... When offering soup you need to tell customers that it spicy. Not everyone likes spicy food. The main plate was a bit too salted. I think customers can add the salt if...they need to, but they cannot remove extra salt. We wouldn't dine in this restaurant again.More

Visiting Kingsland 16 Jul '22 and decided to try this restaurant due to the high rating. Called in togo order and picked up about 5:30. Ordered the spaghetti with butter sauce add feta. Got to my hotel room about 15 minutes later. Opened up my...meal and was surprised at the sight of the food. Had about two cups of noodles in a pan floating in butter. Was supposed to come with parmesan but there was none in the "butter sauce" or on the noodles. The noodles were stuck together so that when I forked it it was one solid blob. The foot long loaf of bread was split like for a sub sandwich and soggy with butter so that it wasn't like eating bread. The sauce for the bread was good so I poured it on the noodles to try and salvage the mess, the taste was terrible. The salad with raspberry vinaigrette was good but very very small. So I trashed everything but the salad and went to Sonny's for a steakburger which was excellent.More

I got the chicken parmigiana hoagie and my husband had the meatball parmigiana hoagie. The bread wasn't semolina, so it was a bit doughy. Rather than a cutlet lightly covered in breadcrumbs, and pan-fried, the chicken was a battered and southern-fried slab bathed in a...marinara sauce that was thick, but a bit too sweet. The cheese didn't stretch like melted mozzarella usually does, but slid off in large globs instead. Hubby said the meatballs were good. We liked the atmosphere - seemed like everyone knew everyone else - and it was ok for the price.More

Parking might be an issue, as this restaurant shares space with a gas station, but the food was quite good, as was the service. Hubby got a small pizza, while I got a really good Greek salad with gyro meat. The ambiance is nothing to...write about; it looks like your average smallish restaurant, but the food was really good, and the price was good, too. It's a bit noisy, mostly due to the absence of an sound absorbing material, but apart from that, and the very few designated parking spots, this is a very good place to eat some Italian style food.More

The location is beside a gas station which you see first. Limited parking spots. You walk in and it looks like a diner. BUT the garlic bread and marinara sauce is to die for. My wife and I had The chicken sauté which was delicious...and looks more like a chicken marsala with the exception of the chicken had small pieces or not a thigh laid with the noodles and sauce. The sauce was delicious so were the sautéed mushrooms. They offer wine and beer so you’re not allowed to bring in wine and they don’t offer a corkage fee in fact they didn’t know what a corkage fee was. On the bright side the wine Ruffino Chianti was $23 for the bottle and was delicious. Kingsland does not have a lot to offer but at least you know you’re not gonna wind up watching a fight which takes place at the flea bag hotel in Saint Mary’s. With that said I would recommend this restaurant. There is not a lot to choose from in the town but this is not bad.More

We arrived after a long drive to find a line. We started to search elsewhere but as we caught the aroma we decided to wait. It felt good to stand and move around a bit after a long day in the car. We ordered manicotti...and chicken parm. Great Choices! Each came with salad and we received a large basket of bread. All were delicious! We shared both and enjoyed some of the parm at breakfast the next morning. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. We recommend them.More

Glad we stayed: We made an I95 stopover at nearby hotel and found this v close and #1 on TripAdvisor. It was v busy at dinner hour on a Wednesday, with lots of folks waiting ahead of us. Ambiance is v tired pizza parlor and...they desperately needed at least one more hand (with a tray) in the dining room. We were wondering if we should stay. We were so glad we did! Had a veggie pizza and eggplant parm dinner (not vegetarian, just happened to choose these) Both were excellent and it was too much food. The inexpensive bottle of Chianti was way better than its price.More

Even with staffing issue (thanks to COVID), the service was good. The food was good, too! My wife and I were not overly hungry after a long day on the road, so we split a meatball parm between us. It was delicious!

We tried Angelo's for the first time on a busy Friday evening. The place was hopping and had limited seating because of a lack of staff. There was one waitress for the entire restaurant, but she was extremely efficient and didn't seem phased by the...crowd. We both ordered spaghetti & meatballs, our "go to" meal when visiting an Italian restaurant for the first time. (if they can't get this right, there's no reason to go any further). The sauce (gravy) was very good and surpassed my Italian husband's standards. And the meatballs were just as tasty. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional, considering the conditions. We'll definitely be back when we're in Kingsland.More
