Welcome to Steffens Restaurant, where Southern hospitality and scratch-made meals meet! Family owned and operated since 1948, we're still Kingsland's favorite local family diner. At Steffens Restaurant, we believe fresh food tastes better! All of our food is made fresh daily and never, ever frozen. Whenever possible, we use local meat, dairy, and produce to support our local farmers and merchants. We bring the best of the farm right to your table! We've been preparing our meals the old Southern way for over 67 years! Our award-winning burgers and buttery, scratch biscuits are sure fill

(however I have to question the "freshness" claims as I watched things being off-loaded fr/ a restaurant supply truck as we ate) but they were out of several items I ordered (probably still being off-loaded fr/ the restaurant supply truck). I tried the seafood "sampler"...More

A local treasure for years. We go for breakfast every now and then. The staff is friendly, courteous and prompt. They have catfish and okra like your grandma used to make.

My wife has dined at Steffens a number of times and enjoyed it. She particularly liked the pot roast and recommended the "Kitchen Sink" (mashed potatoes covered with corn, fried chicken pieces, hot sauce and brown gravy). This dish is a much better rendition of...More

Stopped on our way home from Key West for breakfast. The monster Breakfast burrito was awesome. The sausage gravy with biscuits was delicious. The staff does a great job. Good food and not expensive.
