I've been coming to the area for 15 years and regularly go to Mas pau. Never had a bad meal, love the place! The food is superb, and the service excellent. They have expanded but still maintain high standards. It is beautiful to sit outside in the summer, but the building is so beautiful that it is a pleasure to... More

We have been to this restaurant half a dozen times over the years (and our friends, who live in the area, boast that they have been going there for 19 years now). Extensive menu with a number of Catalan specialties. My personal favorite is the rabbit in green sauce, but there are also two succulent offerings of pork, a couple... More

Superb food in a lovely setting. The outside seating area is a delight. We were handed 30 year anniversary fans as it was hot (and the restaurant celebrating 30 years obviously!) but they weren't needed as there was a lovely breeze blowing through the courtyard. Starters were amazing, but the mains were just to die for. Iberian Pork Cheeks melted... More

If you are in the area this is a must. Beautiful setting with tables in the fabulous building itself and the gardens. There are a number of private dining areas seating up to 12 people. Lots of parking and a very interesting rural museum. We had a selection of starters and main courses all of which were excellent. Both management... More

This is a great place to dine and relax after a day visiting, biking or swimming in the sea. You can eat under trees, with the tables on the grass and the children playing in a play area set for them. The light is beautiful, the service friendly and professional and the food really good! The value is great! This... More

Had one of the best meals I've had in a long time at this outstanding restaurant in the Catalan countryside. The food and wine is mostly local and excellent, and the setting is just gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for a lazy, wine-sodden lunch with old friends.

I have only good things to say about this place. Beautiful setting (nice old house and lovely garden), very good food and excellent professional service. I am usually weary of such large restaurants (often the food is mediocre or cold or else it takes a long time to arrive to the table), but not here. The first nice thing that... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant at lunchtime and ate outside in the covered garden section. It was soon full of locals and we realized we were lucky to arrive right at 1:00. The food was so good we returned the following week for another meal. We tried several grilled seasonal vegetable dishes as well as a grilled turbot fish. All... More
