Good place for old fashioned country food. The chicken fingers are very good, not over breaded. Fried green tomatoes are great. And the peach muffins are amazing.

Good food especially fried chicken. Cornbread has improved. Lighter and not as greasy as before. Family atmosphere.

We had fried chicken with white gravy which was real tender and potato salad as well as mac n' cheese which was very good. Their peach muffin was good.

Great place for "comfort food". Definitely go on a week day to avoid crowds. The wait time is usually not bad on Fridays. Desserts are great too

So as a child we would eat many Sunday lunches at Po'Folks with my parents friends from church. The location in my hometown closed 20 years ago and I hadn't eaten at one since. There were definitely changes over that time period (like the name and no syrup for the biscuits), but the food was really good. The prices were... More

We visited Folks for dinner during the week. We were seated promptly and attended to right away. Our booth was near the kitchen so I could see the door that led to it. The area seemed to need a little attention as did our booths. Folks has a tradition of serving good country cooking and this was held to that... More

Visited for late lunch. Waitress explained the menu. The Brunswick stew was full of flavour and the barbeque chicken was tasty and melted in the mouth. The brisket beef tasted on the fatty side. The peach cobbler was good. Very reasonably priced and a chance to sample local cuisine.

We had good food but they lost our order resulting in lousy service. We had their fried chicken breast and gravy with mac n' cheese and potato salad and a blueberry muffin. Everything was good but the long wait for our food. The manager did come by and apologized and took care of entire cost of our meal.
