Great little lunch spot with made from scratch offerings. Soups, salads, sandwiches are all very good. Small dining room, but tables turn over quickly.

Very nice restaurant. Food was delicious and soup was hot and yummy. We stopped in and had a sandwich and soup. Didn’t go wrong and the place is friendly.

In the area today and found this place. Great menu - had the chicken salad on croissant, pea salad and these delicious little lemon cakes! Took home their chicken and dumplings for dinner, they were awesome. The ladies were so nice. I will definitely be back.

Excellent staff, great atmosphere, delicious, fresh food. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re in the area you have to try it. I was looking online for something to do in Henry County and read a short article about this place. We thought we’d give it a try. I’m so glad we did. I had a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a Caesar pasta salad side. The salad was big enough to have been my meal. Sandwich was wonderful. My husband had a buffalo chicken wrap panini and a side of chips and salsa. He enjoyed every bite. My husband is in a wheelchair. One of the staff members came outside to help me get him in and as we left another staff member took him out. I’m just grateful when a restaurant helps with the door. This was definitely over and above. We will be back. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

We stopped in today looking for a quick bite to eat and came away very happy. There’s a nice quaint store that you can buy sauces, jellies, etc and then a deli menu where you can get various sandwiches and desserts. We were there for lunch, ordered a full cake and picked it up at 2pm. The cake was great! If you are in the area, stop by and have a nice lunch.

We tried Rutabaga’s for the first time today. We both had the steak and cheese sandwich plus Caesar pasta salad. Very tasty. Cute cafe too.

One of the best lunch spots around. Chicken salad and pimento cheese with bacon bits was crazy good.

We tried this place for the first time this month. The chicken salad is delicious but definitely not enough for the price. They are big on samples so give them a try. I will never order the ham and cheese sandwich again though. It was a simple ham and cheese sandwich, absolutely nothing special. They sell a lot of crafty treats that would be great for baskets. The associates are always friendly.

Comfortable cafe for having lunch with friends; offers a variety of sandwiches and side dishes, desserts. Also very quaint shop selling local merchants foods and crafts. Enjoyed strolling around looking at everything this cafe has to offer. Reasonable priced.

Had heard through word of mouth about Rutabagas so me and my fiancée decided to give it a try. Excellent choice of different sandwiches and options (breads, salads, desserts....) They love giving samples so trying the different offerings before buying was a huge plus. We recommend the pimento cheese (some of the best I've had.) the chicken salad (made with pineapples, delicious!) and the egg salad made with a zucchini relish. The dining area was cozy and comfortable and there's lots of jams and jellies to choose from if you'd like to do a little shopping. The perfect little corner cafe. We will be back much sooner than later.

Though tiny, Rutabagas has great food. There are only two tables and no high chairs, but we had the best soup and sandwich combos ever. Some basic chips would have helped for our picky toddler, but the egg salad was fresh and tasty, served on a croissant. We bought some bean salsa from the shopping section also.

This is a nice, upscale boutique. Offers their own brand of condiments such as salad dress, zucchini relish, sliced jalapenos produced in nearby McDonough. I was not aware that they also serve food.

We had the pleasure of dining at this local eatery on October 7. There is a very welcoming atmosphere and the food is fresh. I had a scoop of the broccoli salad and greek cucumber salad. My mother had the chicken salad on a croissant and we both enjoyed our selections. They also have a wide selection of jellies and treats, and will gladly offer samples of everything. If I am ever in the Hampton area, I will definitely return.
