You can’t beat the view and really good food. We have visited the other lakeside restaurants, and this is the best food and view on Lanier.

The best thing about Pelican Pete's is the location on Lake Lanier. It is very nice to sit under their open ceiling and watch the boats and water activity. The food is good. I would like to see more seafood options. We were there for...lunch and will try them again for dinner.More
Went on 7-6-2020 == nice view of lake == kinda makes you feel like you on vacation == we split a fish sandwich & a philly cheese == cheese steak was less than average == needed more peppers and cheese == fish was pretty good...though was kinda small for 14.00 == fries was average === beans/rice was bland == if i go back i will defently get something different == but in no hurry for now !!!!More
First time to this area of GA. Staying Cumming, GA.for one night and asked desk clerk of places to eat on Lake Lanier. This was one she recommended. Drove out here, about 12 miles from our hotel in Cumming. Right on the lake, turn in...where sign says Port Royale Community. Great atmosphere and right o the lake. Getting very busy, the start of Memorial Day weekend. Nice menu and good selection of beers. I had the chicken fingers, wife had the Mahi Fish sandwich. Enjoyed both meals and the views of the lake and boats was great.More
Pete's spent the entire winter remodeling, so I expected big things! My favorite thing on the menu was shrimp. The peel and eat were firm and big, and the fried were lightly breaded and plump. No more fried shrimp, and the peel and eat are...mushy and small. Even the chicken tenders shrunk by half. This is not the same quality I expected!More
First time here and was amazed by the panoramic view from Pete’s. Service was excellent and drinks were good! Just wished the menu was more extensive. The fish choices didn’t appeal to me (Cobia and Flounder). Although food was good, I thought it was a...little pricey.More
I am in town for work and thought this would be a great place to have a meal while having a nice view of the lake. The place does get really busy and the pier in general is quite crowded with all of the boaters....The menu is short and simple but does have some nice dishes on it. I opted for the Luau pulled pork which was quite good. While the food is good the view is great and I think what you are really coming here for is the atmosphere. It was nice place to catch a good meal and view.More
Love their menu and the atmosphere is great. Their new expansion is great and helps with the lines being shorter. Their marguaritas are excellent. I take everyone that comes from out of town there.
A wonderful place to tie up the boat, meet friends and have lunch! Very nice setting, with average food and good service! Beer is cold, music is great and prices are fair. If you are boating on Lake Lanier, it's one of you best choices...for a good time!More
Pelican Pete's is a pretty cool place to grab some lunch and maybe listen to live music while spending the day on the lake. The food on the other hand is just OK. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it either, just average food. 4...of us sat at the bar because of the 1+ wait for a table on a Sunday afternoon and we were well taken care of. The Food: Pimento Dip, IMO was not that good but my son and his girlfriend liked it enough they put it on their sandwiches. I had a burger So-So, but was over cooked by my medium rare to medium standards -- Was told they only come in Medium Well. The wife had the Crab BLT with what she said was very little crab but she did enjoy the sandwich. Our son had a burger also and he was disappointed by how over cooked it was, so he added the leftover Pimento Dip to the burger. Lastly one of us had the Cali Club which was by far the best of the sandwiches ordered. So, for a busy Sunday on the lake, Pelican Pete's delivered us some nice live music, cold drinks and average foods plus a place to dock our boat.More
