We have only eaten here a few times and have loved it every time. The food is fantastic...I esp love the grouper fingers :) The setting is lakeside, and there is a marina which also provides the boating atmosphere. Folks can drive their boats up, dock, and grab some great food and beverages. Glad Fish Tales is here to provide... More

Their fried grouper fingers and shrimp combo is a treat! Everything fresh, cooked to order. The fried plantains are awesome as is their unique tartare sauce! Only problem is the latest menu has so many new wonderful items, I will have trouble chosing what to try next visit! Can't wait!

Very good food and big portions. This is right on the lake with a great view. Service was outstanding! Check out their sister restaurant Pig Tales across the lake

Great place to go after a day at the lake but they are very busy on weekends and you may have to wait awhile for a table. Used to be pet friendly but not anymore so that was a bummer but overall the food is good, the beer is cold!

I have been to Fish Tales many times in past years and the food is always very good. The atmosphere is great and they have music on the weekends. We went to dinner last night & the had added some new menu choices. 3 of us got the Floribean Grouper (grilled grouper topped with crabmeat & lobster sauce) OH MY!... More

It's not elegant. It's not close to anything except Hideaway Marina. But it is awesome. The service is always friendly. The food is always yummo. Excellent fish and seafood! Some kick butt drinks too!

There are surprisingly few lakeside restaurants around Lake Lanier, and this is the best one that we've been to. You can arrive either by boat or car. The restaurant is perched up on the hill 50 meters from the water. It has 2 great beaches (sandpits) for the children. Lots of fish dishes, but also some other fare too. Decent... More

We always enjoy our food and the views. Live music on weekends. Crowded during summer, but great in fall and spring, before the boaters are out in force. Great margaritas and love their sweet potato fries with honey mustard on the side. My husband always get the signature fish tales and enjoys them very much. Nothing fancy, but solid food,... More
