Arranged a last minute dinner with friends and decided to try Fish Tales; we had tried a month or so earlier, but the wait was too long... a good sign. We arrived about 6:00 and only waited about 20 minutes. Food and service were both wonderful!

Small salmon piece was overcooked and dry, rice was very crunchy. (Two orders were this way!). Sweet potato fries and onion rings were good. I wouldn't recommend this pricy dish. We were with a group and couldn't really ask for our order to be remade. It had taken a while for our food to be ready. It is nice to... More

We loved Pig Tales nearby, so when it was closed unexpectedly one night and a sign directed us to Fish Tales, we happily made our way there. Unfortunately, not good! Service was fine, but the food was absolutely disgusting. We had: fish tales (x2), hamburger, chicken sandwich. 3/4 of us chose coleslaw as the side. None of the 4 of... More

We were able to go by boat which is nice. Casual atmosphere. Fried grouper very good. They check EVERYONE'S ID, my 90 year old dad was carded. I think that is a little extreme. No ID, no alcohol. Not fabulous, but very good lakeside dining.

We had been there last year when we visited Lake Lanier and had a great meal so we returned this time and were not disappointed. Excellent service and great meals! I had the grouper tacos and they were wonderfully flavored and large portions. You can choose a side and I had black beans and yellow rice which was also very... More

The sand boxes are great to keep the kids entertained. The food has great flavor, fresh and very large portions. Just a fun place with a very laid back atmosphere.

For an hour or two you can imagine yourself on vacation soaking up the sun enjoying the atmosphere of the care-free lifestyle. Is that perfect break after a busy work week. The food is YUMMY, the drinks are great, music is good, and the people are friendly. What more can you ask for?!

This is actually just a little hole in the wall place, but the food is great! You can actually dock your boat at the marina and come in to eat with your bathing suits and casual wear. The grouper sandwich at lunch is great! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and they are always busy. Good customer service and food... More

Stopped here for a quick dinner. Family had the Salmon Salad, Ahi Tuna, and Grouper. Both the salmon salad and tuna were very good. The grouper was a bit dry, and had a little less seasoning that my wife would have preferred. May chalk that up to ordering wrong. Would definitely come back.

Best food on Lake Lanier!! Does fill up fast on the weekends so plan to go early. Giant sand pit for the kids to play. Prices are reasonable and service was great
