Mario is an amazing waiter and he is why I come back. His personality is infectious, he is attentive and he is so inviting. He makes coming here an experience all in itself. He deserves all the praise and thanks because without this amazing dude...I would not drive ALL the way here for food. The food is amazing but he's even better!!! He is amazing and deserves all the love. He was the first waiter to come to me after waiting, he was very attentive and made sure I was cared for. He is AMAZING!!!!!More

My wife and I arrived in Fayetteville after a long day on the plane, We asked our hotel where to get great Mexican food and they recommended El Reposo. The food and the atmosphere were fantastic. It was great to be able to have our...first meal in Georgia at this restaurant. Thanks so much to Sofia for the exceptional service and the attention to detail. If we are ever back in the area this restaurant will be a must. thanks to all the staff.....More

Awful service food was terrible. In these trying times you would think the waiter would be wearing a mask. Everyone was wearing one except for him. I will tell everyone I know not to come there they are taking a chance. Just like the sign...you had outside come in at your own risk. But you expect the guy to be wearing a mask when he's taking care of you. Never will come there again putting lives at risk.More

Our group of 3 arrived at noon and saw only a couple tables filled. We ordered the calamari app, chimichangas, flautas, burritos, and tamales. Everything was good, except the appetizer never arrived. The service started off good, but after the first couple plates came, she...ghosted us completely. Another server brought a couple more plates and left too quickly for us to inquire about the missing order. I cut servers a lot of slack, having been one myself, but ghosting tables is kinda bad. Maybe it's not a pervasive problem there, so we will give it another go one day.More

Texanas Fajitas were okay, fair flavor, good portions. However, they are served with 3 small soft tortillas. A medium size would be better. Service was a bit slow for a Sunday. Friendly staff...

I would have given this restaurant 5 stars but didn’t because it was very loud. We were there on a Thursday afternoon around 4:30 so not a particularly busy time although there were a fair amount of people eating. The service was good. Once seated...chips & salsa were on our table almost immediately. Our order was taken shortly after. I ordered the El Reposo chicken salad.....it was large and delicious. It was very loud though. At times we had to raise our voices so we could hear each other. I can’t imagine what a Friday or Saturday evening would be like.More

Only because we found a coupon did we eat at El Reposo, and coupon or not, we will never return. Here is the only positive we could come up with: They have cheap lunch specials. We were there on a weekday (Wednesday) at about 2:30...so there was no crowd. Our waitress (we didn't get her name) had short hair and was the slowest server ever. The people in the booth next to ours came in after we did, and they placed their order, ate, and were out the door before we even got our order. We ordered a combination of items: Burrito, enchilada, Fish Tacos, nachos, soup and Sopaipillas. By far, the best item was the soup. They use something that looks and tastes like watered-down tomato soup as a topping for the main dishes. I had high hopes for the fish tacos, but they had a few pieces of cabbage and a tiny bit of sauce. They were dry and yucky. At this point I wanted to walk out, but my husband would've gotten mad at me for making a big deal about it. In any case, the nacho's are edible.More

We had seen this place several times when we were having dinner at the Village Cafe next door. We finally decided to try it out. You can enter on either side of the building; you don't have to park on the side facing Hwy 54....The inside is bright and airy. I wouldn't necessarily have guessed that from outside. The menu has a decent array of options. For combos, rather than using the semi-standard set of Mexican Restaurant numbers, they just let you choose 1, 2, or 3 main items (along with rice & beans) and charge accordingly. I opted for this and the food was fine. My wife got a 3 taco platter, and liked it. Service was good; our waiter was attentive. Overall, if I lived closer to the restaurant I might go more frequently. As it is, there are a few similar places closer to us.More

We went here on a Saturday evening a little later than usual. There were not many patrons, but that was good for our prompt service. Orders consisted of a burrito and a jumbo burrito, which came as ordered. The jumbo was huuuuge. Three quesadillas, one...steak, one veggie and one pork were delivered hot and quickly. Veggie tasted good, pork was only pork and cheese. Could have used a bit of spice and onion. To kick it up a notch. Cheese queso was average and congealed quickly, and a bit bland.More

The service was attentive and friendly. I had lunch carnitas and the pork was very good and flavorful. The portion was really large for a lunch entree. The guacamole garnish was fresh and awesome. Not a big fan of the salsa but this was a...good choice and one I would make again.More

The meal was of average flavor, size, and temperature. The drinks were incorrectly delivered, the chips basket was full of broken chips, and the cheese was lukewarm. Left full but far from best meal ever.

As a source of 'foodie budgeting', I use Groupons from time to time (shout out to GP!), I chose a very interesting place that offers a nice variety of authentic Mexican delicacies called El Reposo in Fayettville, GA. I'd never been there before and decided...to check it out. When I arrived and went in there were not many people milling about , which gave me an opportunity to find decent seating. I chose to sit near the patio; a few people occupied this area-sitting, chatting, eating, feeling the breeze, and having Margaritas :-) I'm not much of a drinker these days, but ever so often I like to order something in that area so I ordered a cold frosty glass of Dos Equis Mexican beer for starters. The young and pretty waitress 1st brought out warm, out of the oven chips and cool salsa also. Very crunchy, not soft or too salty, just right! After 5 minutes, I was then asked was I ready to order. Yes, I said. For the appetizer, I ordered the El Reposo house Dip, but because I've shunned beef and pork for over 3 decades, I had them custom make it, as the dish is combined with steak, shrimp & chicken; the waitress was very nice & helpful with this and changed my appetizer order to just shrimp and chicken to suit my needs. After tearing through that, I was ready for the main course. I ordered Chilaquiles - corn tortillas topped with chunks of chicken, covered with cheese dip and special sauce. Rice & beans were served along with this dish. I have to say, this was one of the best authentic restaurant meals I have had in a very long while! Everything was prepared fresh, not frozen, and tasted excellent. After paying for the meal and leaving a tip, I decided that I will be back there one day-it was worth the long drive!More

As we entered the restaurant, our first visit, I overheard the host saying that they were under new management. The chips and salsa were delivered promptly as were our drinks. The food was excellent, and the portions were plentiful. We will definitely return.
