Like Sunny Wok, Hokkaido is one of the best restaurants for Japanese food. I came here a few times before and I came here again for lunch after Church on Sunday. I'm so glad to have purchased the Hibachi Lunch combo with vegetables, soup and fried rice and it was excellent. It's actually very easy to get the food to go instead of just sitting down to eat especially on the Sunday afternoon when its very busy. Totally wonderful experience and and very excellent food. :)

We love their food, especially the age tofu appetizer, and their sushi is also delicious. We've been here on several occasions, and will be back. The service is also great...always very sweet and friendly. Thanks!

We have never had a bad plate or appetizer here. The service is great as well as their food! The sushi is fresh and made to order. The prices are spot on so you can spend as your heart (or pocketbook) desires.

Do not allow the outside of the building to deceive you from all the tasty menu options inside. Everything has a fresh taste from the hibachi to the sushi rolls. We took a chance stopping here but will certainly be back to support this business. They have efficient and great customer service!
(The picture is a type of crab sushi that I tried....if you are asking if it was yummy YES! This was as delicious as it looks!)😉😋👍🏽

Last night was our second time going to this restaurant. We went last night because we wanted sushi. I tried the tuna lover's plate and shared it with my husband. It was awesome. He was hesitant to try it because he only likes tuna and was concerned it would have something other than tuna. It was excellent, all tuna and extremely fresh. We have had the tuna tataki appetizer and got dumplings on both visits. I have never been disappointed. My only caveat to you would be to not order the unsweetened tea. The first time I could not drink it and I forgot this time that I didn't like it so ordered it again. It was not as bad this time, but certainly not the best glass of iced tea I've ever had. But if you're in the mood for sushi, this is definitely the place to go.

Really nice atmosphere, excellent service, good prices. Have never had a bad meal here. Right near That Flippin Egg, easy to find and lots of parking. Is wheelchair accessible.

Hokkaido is my favorite Japanese restaurant! It's very fresh and tasty. The prices are reasonable and the food is good! Don't forget to try the sushi!!!

I have dined here several times, but this is my first review.
Tonight I had spicy shrimp sushi and soup...it was delicious. Grand-girls had chicken with rice and veggies and Grandpa had shrimp. From the oldest of us to the youngest we all enjoyed our food.
Yam was a delightful server!

I am certainly one that will travel the distance for great food and experience. I found this place over a year ago and every time I'm impressed. It's good. Real good. I don't have to travel out if town for sushi. The customer service is good ad well. I love the service and atmosphere. Ohhhh you got me hooked....i tell others about this place.......now if we could get a brick oven pizza joint around this camp.... I'm ready...

I'll definitely be coming here again. The young woman who served me her name was Becky and she was ever polite and patient while I decided on what to order. I ordered the Age tofu and it was the best tofu I ever tasted. I give the place five stars.

Everytime we go to this place, the food is FRESH, HOT and flavorful. It doesn't taste like the 'same ole' same ole' food. Absolutely Love It! The people are so friendly and 'sweet'.

Me, my Husband and Son went to Hokkaido last Friday night. It was delicious as always as we are regulars there. I had Hibachi steak and shrimp, with Japanese clear soup, my husband had Hibachi shrimp and scallops, with Misogyny soup, and my son had the kids Hibachi steak. We all had fried rice, which is soooo good!
We had an appetizer of Gyoza and Ebi shrimp sashimi. Everything was delicious and the service has always been good, never been disappointed eating here.

Normally I go to Charlotte for the best sushi. However I think I can stop now. First the service was wonderful. Young guy very sweet. I was seated quickly and even tho it was close to them closing he said no worries. He made suggestions. I even asked about items not in the menu. He said we can fix for you. Wonderful service. I went with Spider Roll and Asperagus roll. They were delicious. The sauce was so good. The process are great. I'll be back definitely..... finally a place I like locally.
