Thought the decorations were fun, staff friendly. I ordered sea bass in a keywest sauce...the portion(appeared to be 2-3 ounces in weight) was swimming in a plate of sauce.very spongy in texture. This did not compare to the fillets displayed as you walked in. Felt a little ripped off!

We love going to this "hole in the wall" to eat. The food is always good, the wait staff are always friendly and always go out of their way to get what ever you need to make your meal more enjoyable. They don't serve alcohol, but you are welcomed to bring your own. Go next door to the attached Marathon... More

Long long wait on a Thursday night. Food is fresh and have an amazing selection for such a SMALL place. Little warm inside on a hot July day as well. Wife and son really enjoyed their meal, scallops and triggerfish. My amberjack was overcooked unfortunately but sides were good. Will try again for sure if in area.

When we moved to Ellijay our neighbor shared this hidden jem so we payed it forward to our new neighbors. Shared an appetizer of clams. They were excellent. I ordered the fried oysters which were small but cooked perfectly. Hubby had the grouper. We will be coming back!

Jolly Roger's is very small, they do not take reservations so go early. Great staff and the food is wonderful. A different and fun place to get away from the chain food restaurants.

We go here at least once a week, and when we do, we see others who do too! You may not go to this place if you're only looking at the outside. It's in a shopping center with a gas station. But the food is divine. Ask anyone who's been. My favorites are the Key West style sea bass, blackened... More

Jolly Roger is the best kept secret in Ellijay, GA. Don't let the location next to the Marathon GS Station. The seafood is excellent!

We chose this restaurant after reading other Trip Advisor reviews. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The started with a basket of fried clam strips for an appetizer. Very generous portion and amazing taste. Between the 5 of us we had fried shrimp, fried scallops, fried fish, grilled shrimp and crab legs. All was... More

Seriously, get the crab cake appetizers and then get the crab cake dinner. It's a very small restaurant so you might have to wait but the wait is worth it. They don't serve alcohol but the locals know you can bring your own wine or beer. They close at 8 pm, but as long as you get in the door... More
