We had a girls night celebrating all our birthdays! We enjoyed the Due it After Dark special as we got right to the cheese and then the chocolate! The restaurant staff is friendly and helpful. All were wearing masks, and we felt everything was clean...along the Covid guidelines. What a marvelous meal my husband and I had with our eldest son and his wife! The service as always was spectacular! Our waiter Matthew (the peach man) did a fabulous job of making sure everything was perfect for our evening out! The food did...not disappoint either. My favorite part is usually the cheese fondue but the caramel turtle dessert with the multiple selections to dip in the chocolate was also to die for. We don’t eat at the melting pot often but when we do we are never disappointed!More
The best food and service. Our server was Emily, she was amazing. Our favorite restaurant. If you are in the neighborhood or passing through this is a great place to eat. This is a great place to dine with family, friends or family including grandkids. One of our grand kids is a picky eater while the other will eat anything, so we hoped the picky one would find something, right? He loved it! We all had...something different, from the steak lover to the mixed grill and everything in between, with wine flights and one offs. Plenty of chocolate choices as well. Our waiter, a really tall one, was fantastic and extremely helpful in assisting us with the menu and our choices and even recommending personal likes. Allow about 2-2 1/2 hours for your complete meal and reservations are recommended. My only worry: while we were waiting for the rest of the crew to show up, we were sitting in the lobby next to the bar. In the space of five minutes, the bartender picked up fruit with bare hands, touched her face, coughed (and did not wash her hands after coughing into her hand) and went on to add lemon to a drink and make another mixed drink.More
I have frequented this Melting Pot at this location since 1996. This was my last time. A lot has changed over the years, but it has come to a pathetic crescendo of unskilled wait staff, rude management and a kitchen staff that sends rotten eggs...out on top of salads. Truly a shame.More

We waited almost 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated - when we were, we were in a very crowded small room with no room to pull out a chair so we ended up having to sit next to each other on a...booth instead of across the table. (Huge pet peeve made worse by the long wait to be seated in the first place!) We waited almost 15 minutes after being seated before we were acknowledged. I am not sure if she was overwhelmed or just didn't care - we only saw her with 2 tables) The food is always great so that was no problem - the wait between courses was a problem. The other table she had waited 25 minutes between getting the chocolate menu and ordering and actually went into the restaurant looking for her so they could order. The biggest disappointment of all was the manager - he asked the other table about their experience (5 people ordering multiple courses and wine pairings, etc) and when they gave candid feedback on the wait, missed wine pairings and general disappointment in the service he responded with "oh ok... sorry". He called to us as we walked out the door and asked how our service was (he couldn't even be bothered to walk the 10 feet to ask us) I simply called over my shoulder that it didn't matter because he clearly didn't care. We will definitely go back to Melting Pot - but never to this location. Bad service is one thing, the disinterest in management to address it is unacceptable.More
My husband & I enjoyed the attentive service from Gwyneth (?). She gave us some great suggestions and then followed it up with great service. We enjoyed the 4 course meal for a little over 2 hours! We really never felt like we were waiting...on anything, just relaxing and enjoying each course. It is a little pricey, but sometimes you just have to treat yourself!More
We hadn’t been to a Melting Pot in years and were excited to try the Duluth location. What a huge disappointment!! The food was fine. The service however was horrendous and I don’t think the waiter is to blame. This restaurant is in serious need...of additional waiters and busboys! Our three course meal took over three hours and during most of the time we were staring at our dirty dishes (our table was completely covered in dishes as there are a lot of plates, serving platters, sauces, etc associated with a fondue meal). It seemed that the waiter had way too many tables and there wasn’t a busboy in sight. So the waiter’s job was to explain the menu and how it works, deliver the food and clean up the table. The management of this restaurant needs to hire more staff. We don’t plan to return.More
I was very disappointed in what we received for the cost. You fooled me once but never again. I would have to say a cook your own McDonald’s would have been about the same. The waitress was nice but deceiving. Probably trained to be that...way. Buyer beware, unless you have money to waste. Fix your wife a nice meal at home, and have enough money left over to supply groceries for the rest of the week.More
