I don't know why they don't carry both types of bbq sauce. Your cutting out a large group of people. Food was decent but I don't like plain bbq I enjoy molasses based sauces. I asked for bbq sauce and bowl of brown water showed up. it was not sauce it was liquid. If you like it great, but sauce... More

We love this place! Very laid back, like you are having dinner at an old friend's house. They have some of the best BBQ in the area with very family friendly prices. They also carry hot dogs, BBQ stuffed baked potatoes, fries that are homemade, salads, and out of this world fried pickles. Their tea is just like what your... More

I have been eating at this place since it opened 40+ years ago. Tea was 25 cents back then. Me n my friends would ride our bikes many miles just to eat there. Good food from a hard working local family and good memories. Nothing like dropping in for a good meal with those awesome homemade salad dressing.

Theu don't serve the traditional bbq sauce, it is more like a vinegar. It is still good. I loved the fried pickles !!

The bakery house this side of the Mississippi. I'm an avid barbecue lover. I used to love Briar Patch but since it's burned down and been rebuilt Foods just not the same. I have eaten barbecue throughout Georgia and the surrounding states and Hudson's by far is the best. My recommendation for something new? Try the Hickory fries.

Once you visit you do not even need a Menu, the Value Meal is a Real Big Value, and you do not leave hungry. The choices are very broad, meaning you can choose beef, chicken or pork. They have real potatoes for French fries. Could have some now!

I ate at the Hudson Hickory House with my son recently after his baseball game. I had a great sweet potato and my son had some wings. The sweet tea was amazing here too.
