Went with large group, and we all had several different dishes. I ordered their crayfish etouffe, which was delicious and sample from friends plates too. Lunch time was a bit hectic so bring your patience, and enjoy your meal!

Did I say I love this restaurant? They have the best crab artichoke spinach dip I have ever had, the best! The Gumbo and Jambalaya - oh my goodness. I just do not have words for the Etouffee. Authentic New Orleans style cuisine. The restaurant does not take reservations and there is always a line trying to get in. Believe... More

We went 4 hrs out of our way to go to this placebo. The urging of my wife who previously lived in douglasville, there was a long wait very poplar place, food did not disappoint, had Mardi Gras platter, wife had bayou gator and fries! Meals were delicious, I wanted to try everything on the menu, so sad I won't... More

We went to Gumbeaux last night. The food was excellent, the service was great, however, there is quite a wait. We had 24 tables ahead of us, but we were called within 30 minutes which isn't too bad considering the number of people.

We live about 20 min. from Douglasville and I had never been to Gumbeaux's until last week. My husband had been several times through work, so he has always talked about how great the food is . Took our two kids and they loved it as well. We eat and make our own Cajun food at home .. (Blue Crab,... More

French Quarter shrimp are my favorite. Tuesday night is shrimp night 10 for $5. They open at 5:00. Get there early or be ready to wait.

Always enjoy the clam chowder, and Buffalo shrimp. My wife loves the aligator. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly wait staff. I would recomend this place to anyone, that likes cajun.

The staff were VERY helpful for us first timers to the place. I swear I think Paul Prudhomme is in the back cooking up these wonderful delights. My wife and I had the fried green tomatoes to start (after they brought a sampling of etouffle, seafood chowder and some other wonderful stuff for us to try). I had the gator... More
