I'm sad that they're closing

One of our Atlanta/Decatur favorites for years. Unfortunately on tonight's visit we found a notice on the door that they are losing their lease and will be closing as of 12/31/15. We'll make at least one more visit in this very small window and will miss the great food and pleasant service that we always get.

Our waiter was funny and charming and the food was delicious. We started with Shankleesh which was pleasantly spicy and Grilled Halloumi. I had never had Toot (the mulberry juice drink) before and I liked it. It's not too sweet with a good flavor. The roasted garlic chicken was so good, tender and tasty. My husband had chicken shawarma and... More

Mezza can be crowded on a Friday evening but I guess the rain kept the crowds down tonight. The waitress was a bit eager to take our order and kept interrupting our conversation to see if we were ready to order yet. But once she took our order, and the food was served, she didn't intrude and we sat there... More

Love this lace tucked back in the Oak Grove neighborhood. Tapa style food, lots of choices. My favorite is the roasted cauliflower.

I recently dined here with two other friends, one who eats here regularly. We let him order for us and were super happy he did! They serve family style, and we must have had eight, maybe ten different dishes, from dolmas to lamb stew, and every single dish was delicious! And it was really, very affordable - a bonus! For... We had dinner with friends at Mezza after a long absence. It was about as I remembered -- good traditional Middle Eastern food, prices a little on the high side, fairly extensive menu, OK service in an attractive storefront space.

The food here is really fabulous, and they have lots (20+) of gluten-free small plates. It's rare to go to a restaurant that has so many gluten-free options that I have a hard time deciding what to order! In my experience, the staff has been knowledgeable about which labeled gluten-free options are suitable for people with Celiac Disease and those... More

Decided to try Lebanese with some friends. We got lucky and did not have reservations, but they got us right in. There is nothing that says you need to make reservations, but I would make them on the weekends. It is tapas style and the food is very good. Service was awesome and they were very helpful when we wanted... More
