The food is pretty good at 246, however it is so loud in there that it is impossible to enjoy your food. When I have gone it has been to endure it as long as possible and get through the meal and get out. So any thought of lingering over your food or trying more dishes is futile. On top... More

The negatives first: the place is crowded, too noisy and the service can be brusque. But the food is generally quite good and the menu creative. Perhaps our brusqueserver was a bit overwhelmed by the crowd...but a place that seats that number of people needs to be prepared for it. I'd return again,....but at a time less crowded.

Met friends for dinner while in town. They picked the place because they had never been before but had heard great reviews. The restaurant itself has a very nice decor, sort of upscale. We started by sharing the baked ricotta appetizer. It was enough for three people to share. Very flavorful mixing the basil with the tomato sauce and ricotta.... More

Excellent quality, not overpriced, excellent and unique Italian fare Squid ink spaghetti was excellent and their home made meatballs are the best. Not a bad dish on the menu and very good wine menu!

I had great hopes that this would be a great Italian experience. I had read many favorable reviews about this restaurant. We were celebrating the birthdays of my wife and daughter. The experience with mostly disappointing. The lady that greeted by wife and daughter was not very friendly according to my wife and daughter but did wish them a happy... More

My family and I have made Mother's Day at No. 246 a tradition. We love this restaurant on any given day but it it is always such a nice treat for Mother's Day. This year we included my husbands parents and brother along with his family. We had a party of 12 and 246 handled the group like pros. The... More

We have looked at this restaurant several times but never gone. What a mistake. Finally went and was quite impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed - unlike the stuffiness that plagues many Italian restaurants in Atlanta. As the night drew on, the place quickly became crowded and a bit noisy. Nothing that distracted from the meal or the table's conversation. Food... More

Another Ford Fry et al inspired foodie location with bent toward Italian creations with locally sourced products. Starting with Kale and beet salad and their take on crispy calamari thru squid ink spaghetti or fresh trout you will find a lot for you and your table mates to talk about regarding your meal. Of course their are great wines and... More

Delicious! Wonderful pasta and seafood in a great setting. We had a couple appetizers: the Royal red shrimp in an amazing sauce was the winner. For dinner, the menu is short but great. The mushroom ravioli was plentiful and rich. The squid ink spaghetti with shrimp was awesome and the cacio de Pepe was perfect. We also had bolognese which... More
