We must have gone at the wrong time ! Our meal was awful!! The salad bar mediocre, soups taste like cheap canned variety- 3 entrees- Salisbury steak, chicken fried rice & baked fish- nothing tasted like homemade- gravy on Salisbury was terrible & chicken fried rice was like they opened up a couple of cans & heated it up, mashed... The brunch buffet was great, we were there right when they were putting out and setting up all the food, the fried chicken was awesome and the waffles as well. Big salad bar selection and the omelette station was awesome too.

Did I mention the amazing views? Wow! How beautiful! We were sat at a table right along the west facing windows and about 30-minutes before the sun set on the mountain tops. It was awe-inspiring! My girlfriend and I even slipped out to the deck out back and took a few pictures with the sun fading into the vast mountain... More

The property changed from the state control to the Coral group. The food and service has never been the same. It is a toss up with what you will receive. They have changed the staff many times in the hope it will be better. Good Luck!

The lodge offers spectacular views and we really enjoyed sitting out back on the balcony. The staff was helpful and friendly, however we were very disappointed with the restaurant. After a long day of traveling we were looking forward to eating dinner at the lodge. Unfortunately we were not aware that the restaurant closed at 9pm and when we arrived... More

We had a lunch buffet - food was ok, but the view from the restaurant is spectacular! The lodge also looks like a lovely place to stay.

Breakfast and the seafood buffet were extraordinary. Service was a pleasure and the room was spic and span.

The food was country cooking heavy on meats and few vegetarian options were available. If diners were free to order single items, that would be fine, but since the restaurant only offers one option, the buffet purchase, I felt I paid more that I should have since I did not eat any of the meat. I was offered veggie burgers... More

The view is beautiful. The food exceptionally good and the rooms are lovely. Very relaxing. This is where we like to come to "decompress" from daily responsibilities. We meet interesting people as we sit out on the patio enjoying those lovely mountains. We always feel renewed after staying at the Lodge.

The lodge is pretty neat with awesome views and nice staff. The food in the restaurant is not even average. It is a buffet with everything coming from a can. It's similar to "Golden Corral" and etc but for twice the price. It would be an awesome venue if they would improve the food. It's really a "black eye".
