Top notch Chinese American food. The Hot and Sour soup sets the standard set 40 years ago in Decatur at Golden Buddha. Love the House Special Chicken.

The soup wasn't just broth. The Hot & Sour had shrimp in it and veggies. It was hot & sour. The Egg drop had chicken and veggies. The batter for fried stuff was excellent. Not what you normally get. Everything was really good...except the service. There weren't many guests so they were doing other things. Cleaning and stocking and accounting. Could've been 5 stars.

guy with the buzz cut was extremely rude & couldn’t do his job. food was not worth the price. the prices on the menu are not right and a dominoes dude tried to get into the argument ??? we ordered the 6 crab rangoons off the lunch menu & got charged for the dinner size. was just the worse and regret even thinking about going in there.

My son daughter-in-law and I went for lunch. My daughter-in-law was pleased with her shrimp and rice. My son was so show with his Colonel Tao's chicken and rice. I've had different Mongolian beef but this was the sweetest I had ever had and must say the worst I have had. I have been to fortune cookie years ago when it was located in bryman's Plaza and it was run by Ron. He had good food. I do not no who runs it now. But as far as I'm concerned I will not go back. For the process that we paid my meal was not satisfactory.

A tradition on the holidays, as well as weekly visits, this is easily the best asian restaurant in NWGA and one of the best places to eat in Dalton. Hunan Chicken is amazing and the lettuce wraps rival PF CHANGS. If you are hungry for this style of food, you have to try this place.

This restaurant has an exceptional lunch menu with amazing prices. The food is fresh and not soaking in thick, syrupy sauces. Crab Rangoon comes with your meal, which is a plus! And the service is incredible...everyone is so friendly.

Another place with your standard Chinese/Japanese food options along with some less seen combos that are tasty. It's all presented pretty well, too. The biggest problem is the high pricing for what you're getting. With that in mind, I'd only advise doing lunch here.

We blew through town on our way back to MI from Florida. Saw the flyer in the lobby of the Howard Johnson Hotel and ordered delivery as we were worn out from travel. The food was exceptional and we were so surprised by the quality of the food. Ingredients were fresh and spices well done. It is difficult to find this level of quality for Chinese food in many locations including home.

Ate lunch here when we found out all the other Chinese restaurants were closed on Monday. The place was a total shock. Its very tastefully decorated with a full menu. No buffet...food cooked to order. The selection is huge, the serving plentiful and the prices very reasonable. Their lunch specials are on $6.99 and include soup and egg roll.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. We picked it out of the blue but Fortune Cookie has been in business at least since 1980 but I haven't eaten here in years. I had the Mongolian Beef, Egg Drop Soup and Crab Ragoons. Every bit of it was delicious and the Mongolian Bveef was the best I've had anywhere,sweet beef on a bed of crispy rice noodles. My friend had Hunan Chicken which she also enjoyed. The place was very clean, service was good and the bill was cheap! I will definitely go back and I certainly recommend it to others.

This is one of our favorites. We have always had good service. The Mongolian beef is the best we have had out of anywhere we have eaten. The service is quick and attentive.
My only complaint is the dishes are sometimes wet and spotted. Otherwise I have nothing other than positive reviews for the fortune cookie. They have been in business in Dalton for many years. During the time they were closed because they had to relocate we definitely missed them!

I do not eat much meat and sometimes go to the Fortune Cookie for their Vegetable Delight. The Vegetable Delight comes with a choice of soup and choice of egg roll or crab ragoon. The vegetables are not overcooked and taste very fresh and are served with a light sauce which is tasty, but not overpowering. The meal comes with either steamed or fried rice. The price is very reasonable and the service is always friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere is relaxing. They play background music that is appropriate for a relaxing, fine dining experience and helps the patron enjoy the meal in an unhurried fashion.
The Fortune Cookie is, as far as I'm concerned, the best Chinese Restaurant in Whitfield County and surrounding areas.

I have been a fan of Fortune Cookie for years. I often go there with family and friends. I have never been disappointed by the quality of food, the service, or cleanliness of the restaurant. The Sesame Beef (and Sesame Chicken) is outstanding! Today I lunched with a friend from Atlanta who fell in love with the cuisine.
