Came up to the Dahlonega area for a couple nights with my pregnant wife for some peace and quiet away from ATL. Tonight we decided on dinner at Back Porch Oyster Bar and I must say we were both super happy with the overall experience. From the moment we were seated all the way to paying the check, all was... This is my favorite restaurant north Ga. excellent seafood great wine list. Staff is always friendly. It's owned by a husband-and-wife who tend to be there often and make sure things are run correctly!

Looked interesting, so we stopped in for lunch. Is located in downtown Dahlonegha. I had the chef special - trout on a bed of grilled asparagus , hubby had the Cubano sandwich. Both were delicious!! Also ordered the clam chowder soup, it was excellent!!

They were tasty just very small pieces of fish for $19. My in laws ordered crab cake appetizers which they enjoyed but not enough crab meat.... More

Yummy shrimp dinner. The Cilantro ranch dressing is the BEST. Pricey & wait staff was a little ditzy the night I went..

Fine for lunch I suppose. It was a little over priced. Nothing special. Great patios though. Beer and wine only. Does NOT have a full bar.

We stopped in for a quick drink. We sat upstairs on the back patio/deck. Very nice. Didn't try the food but service was good and the drinks were cold. We would return.

When a restaurant has scented candles lit all around the dinning room, hostess stand area something is WRONG with this. When you walk into a restaurant you are suppose to smell FOOD not CANDLES. So needless to say what the heck were they trying to cover up? its a seafood restaurant and bad seafood stinks, so maybe?? The fish and... More

My wife looked at Trip Advisor and chose this place for lunch. Very pleasant experience. The staff was knowledgeable and trained well. The shrimp sandwich (po boy style) was good, My fish and chips had a big filet of fish and was cooked well. We each had a craft beer and they were both good to the taste and served... More

We had lunch during a college visit in Dahlonega. This place did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was great. We enjoyed our meal on the upstairs porch overlooking the beautiful downtown square. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
