After a long day at Amicalola Falls, we were tired, hungry and needing to refuel. We didn't want to spend a lot of money and decided on the Corkscrew. Absolutely love the design of the indoor and outdoor spaces. I would have given a higher rating if the tuna dish I ordered had fresh fruit rather than the mandarin oranges... More

Best seared scallops ever!!! We sat in the air conditioned patio on a night with live music. Very nice, personable waiter.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants but the last two times the food quality was not up to par. Last night guaranteed we will not return. They were out to tuna and salmon. My husband and I ordered the braised short ribs. There were two pieces about 3" by 1" and looked beautiful. However all 4 of... More

I've only sat downstairs, outside. After going down a steep staircase, the patio is fine. The food was good, but I pity the poor waitstaff bringing food down those stairs. Ours ended up all over the stairs, and had to be made again! Keep the menu fresh, as in subsequent visits, the freshness is disappearing....

Nothing special except the prices which were extremely high. The server was nice but servers had to go up and down steep stairs to get the food from the kitchen. I would not go back

We had a family mini-reunion with couples coming on from different directions and used the Corkscrew Café as our meeting place for a long relaxed lunch. We sat out back which to our surprise had A/C which made it quite pleasant for our reunion luncheon. The tapas were a bit small for the price but the Thai noodles with peanut... More

We stumbled upon the Corkscrew after having a really frustrating seating incident at another Dahlonega establishment. We were hungry, mad, and tired, and the hostess (Melanie, I believe) literally ushered us in warmly off the street and got us seated and settled. We were pleasantly surprised to see the menu choices and "Tapas" model. There were three of us (two... More

This cafe is excellent. Small and cozy- great menu and decent prices. Husband had the trout and loved it - I had the Thai linguini- so yum. For an appetizer had the boiled peanut hummus- wow! The service was excellent. We will definitely return.

A must is the bacon wrapped figs. We shared this indulgence and it was worth every calorie. Shrimp quiche was ok, I love quiche but had not had it with seafood, I dont think I like quiche with seafood so thats maybe just personal preference. My friend had the Pimento sandwich (she thought the bread was over cooked and dry).... More

Such a cute Space led to high expectations- bad in every way! Service entirely inexperienced and a lack of leadership and training, just girls up and down the immense set of stairs but never stopping to check on our table! Food took almost two hours to arrive, inedible. Live Music was nice tho!
