We stumbled upon the Corkscrew after having a really frustrating seating incident at another Dahlonega establishment. We were hungry, mad, and tired, and the hostess (Melanie, I believe) literally ushered us in warmly off the street and got us seated and settled. We were pleasantly surprised to see the menu choices and "Tapas" model. There were three of us (two... More

This cafe is excellent. Small and cozy- great menu and decent prices. Husband had the trout and loved it - I had the Thai linguini- so yum. For an appetizer had the boiled peanut hummus- wow! The service was excellent. We will definitely return.

A must is the bacon wrapped figs. We shared this indulgence and it was worth every calorie. Shrimp quiche was ok, I love quiche but had not had it with seafood, I dont think I like quiche with seafood so thats maybe just personal preference. My friend had the Pimento sandwich (she thought the bread was over cooked and dry).... More

Such a cute Space led to high expectations- bad in every way! Service entirely inexperienced and a lack of leadership and training, just girls up and down the immense set of stairs but never stopping to check on our table! Food took almost two hours to arrive, inedible. Live Music was nice tho!

I was walking with my dog and just wanted a beer after exploring. I asked the waiter if dogs were welcome. Before he came back with an answer, the beverage manager who was off duty came upstairs and started welcoming me and walked downstairs with me and my dog. We had great conversations, and everyone made me and my furry... More

Had a nice little dinner here in the downstairs portion. We enjoyed the live music and cute outdoor spot. Service was good and food came out timely. I loved the bacon wrapped dates and the presentation on the seafood salad was beautiful! I got the pork chop as my entree and holy cow, I think we had the leftovers for... More

Went for lunch and the food was great. A little pricey but it was worthy. It probably looks good at night... they have a mural/fence along the property with small lights imitating the stars.
