Great setting and wine was great too! Probably our favorite winery, and we have been to them all around Dahlonega.

I take wine enthusiasts on wine tours of North Georgia and this winery is usually a high priority on my list. Wolf Mountain is known for their sparkling wines but they also have good reds and whites as well. They have a restaurant with delicious food and I really like the fact that they pair their wine with their menu... More

In 1828 Dahlonega was the site of the first American gold rush, which led to Mark Twain's line in one of his books, "There's gold in them thar hills." The gold rush is long gone, but when my wife and I discovered the Sunday Brunch at Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Restaurant, we felt like we'd found a nugget. WM overlooks... More

Don't miss this winery when you are in Dahlonega. It is our favorite one as far as beauty, wines and service. We love the grounds and being able to eat lunch while visiting.

We had an appetizer plate with cold cuts (prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, duck prosciutto) that went well with the red wine we tried. We got salads. My husband asked for changes to the salad ingredients and the waitress was very accommodating. The wine was OK. The salads were very good. The greens were fresh and the chicken was very juicy. The... OMG we LOVED this winery! Lunch out on the patio with the spectacular views! The wine was so good! Knowledgeable staff made for a great day! The tasting room was spacious and it felt cozy all the same time. One of the best wineries in north Georgia!

A special four course winemaker dinner, and the chef outdid himself. Scallop appetizer, duck prosciutto salad, monkfish main course, and homemade sugar cookie dessert. The chef outdid himself, and plenty of food. The wine pairings were excellent, with several sparkling wines (my personal favorite). A special evening with great views of the mountain sunset.

We went for lunch and wine tasting. The restaurant and tasting rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The menu is a little limited, and while the appetizers were delicious, they were small plates to be certain. We all had sandwiches, but salads and pizzas are offered for lunch. My biggest gripe about the restaurant is that it does mot open until... More

This was our third visit. The first two times we went on the spur of the moment only to find they were closed that day (the first time) or open that day but closed by the time we got there (the second time). This time I checked their website to find their days/hours of operation and saw that "Reservations are... More

Owned and operated by a very nice couple from Atlanta. They built a home just down the hill from the restaurant. Beautiful view to enjoy while sipping enjoyable wine, having a wedding reception, sharing Mothers Day with Mom, or touring the winery. Have never had a bad experience. The menu is varied enough to fit all taste. A little drive... More
