We went for lunch and wine tasting. The restaurant and tasting rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The menu is a little limited, and while the appetizers were delicious, they were small plates to be certain. We all had sandwiches, but salads and pizzas are offered for lunch. My biggest gripe about the restaurant is that it does mot open until... More

This was our third visit. The first two times we went on the spur of the moment only to find they were closed that day (the first time) or open that day but closed by the time we got there (the second time). This time I checked their website to find their days/hours of operation and saw that "Reservations are... More

Owned and operated by a very nice couple from Atlanta. They built a home just down the hill from the restaurant. Beautiful view to enjoy while sipping enjoyable wine, having a wedding reception, sharing Mothers Day with Mom, or touring the winery. Have never had a bad experience. The menu is varied enough to fit all taste. A little drive... More

We were in the area for a nighttime wedding, but elected to drive up 6 hours early just to have lunch here once again. We met another couple who were also in town for the same wedding. The place was packed! All their tables were booked (well ahead of time - so be fore warned!) and the wine-tasting on the... More

My wife and I love the north Georgia wine trail , a poor mans Napa, and we always eat lunch or have the Sunday brunch at Wolf mountain. This trip it was lunch and as always the food and service was 2nd.to none. Try their blanc de blanc you will not think it came from Georgia.

If you're going to be in North Georgia wine country, make sure to stop at Wolf Mountain. Best Sunday brunch I've ever had. This is a family-owned and operated vineyard in North Georgia putting out some of the best wine you'll ever have. I would describe the food they prepare as country chic! From pimento mac and cheese to their... More

My son got married here. It was very nice. The views are beautiful and the place is early Georgia gold rush. The food was surprisingly good. There was chicken, salmon, and ham. The sweet potato casserole was marvelous. Service was good.

Called a few days in advance for reservations, outside seating was not available which was okay. We arrived right at our 2:30 reservation and was seated in less than 10 minutes our table was right by a big window with an amazing view, even better than their outside tables. Buffet consisted of a cold avocado soup with was delicious. Fried... More

The views are very nice. The service was good, but the menu selection is limited and a bit odd in my opinion. I had a hard time finding something to choose. I ended up getting a turkey sandwich. I just wished they had more options. Would probably try a different place next time if ever up that way again.

Just north of the Dahlonega square and conveniently off of GA highway 19 is the Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Winery Restaurant, a special place for a weekday lunch. The restaurant/cafe which has a great covered deck with outstanding views is part of the larger winery operation and we found the property and vineyards well cared for and attractive. Parking is...
