A year or so ago I wrote a 1 star review for this place and never went back. After hearing about some changes, I ventured back with friends and am ecstatic to now change my rating to five stars. The food and service were both...excellent. We are now ready to put their brunch at the top of our list on the weekends.. We have been three times and everything we have tried is delicious and plentiful.More

The view in the enclosed balcony and the food was spectacular. We enjoyed every bite in our casual dinner. We ate at our favorite table and loved the fish.

This restaurant is good. Great location in the woods. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the fresh air. Our group was four hungry hikers (we just did 10 mile hike nearby) .... ... The food. Great. I had the burger which was near perfection...on a chobani bun. The nice touch was seafood soup for the side, which is healthier than french fries. My friends had fried chicken salad, tacos, talapia; and all enjoyed their meals. One woman is a chef and she really liked her food and only complaint was it was slightly salty. Service was so so. All in all worth a stop here.More

Went for Sunday brunch on Valentine's weekend based on a recommendation from friends. Just a big disappointment. Starting off with our service. The young guy who waited on us just could not get anything right. I ordered a Cosmo and it tasted so sweet with...very little if any alcohol. Our drinks came very late even though it was not that crowded. It took way too long to take our food order. Other partied that came in after us had their orders taken before us. The waiter took our orders. Then came back almost 10 minutes later and said "I can't read my own handwriting, what did you order again". All four in our party just looked at each other and could not believe it took 10 minutes to figure our order could not be read. I can't make this up. Eggs Benedict, Inside out Grilled Cheese and Omelet's were just average. Fruit coming with the meals were not fresh. Oh and the music was too loud and could not understand what it added to a family restaurant. There are better options in Dahlonega.More

Leah the wedding coordinator was an absolute delight to work with. She and her staff, including Kristin, followed my decorating instructions to the letter. My husband and I were absolutely delighted with the overall service, ambience, quality of the food as well as taste, the...terrace level space was welcoming, clean and overall just perfect for a crowd of 38 people. Nice background music was playing in the background, parking was convenient and the private restrooms most appreciated. At the end, the staff kindly assisted me in packing up the many beautiful decorations we had delivered. I had been told by a Dahlonega resident that this facility was the very BEST nearby for a rehearsal dinner when the wedding was being held the next evening at Wolf Mountain Wineries. If I could, I would give this facility overall TEN Plus stars. We could not have been happier all the way round. Thank you, Leah and Staff! Bob and Lori HowardMore

We had a very poor experience at this restaurant. Firstly, we walked in and someone asked us to wait 5 minutes to clean a table off, even though there were multiple available tables. We stepped outside for 15 minutes, and nobody said anything. I stepped...back inside and a woman asked if we could wait about 10 minutes to clean a table. We stated that we had been waiting already for about 15 minutes, and instead of being seated, we were told to go sit at a table on the patio. We sat down, and we didn’t have menus nor were we even greeted for about five minutes. As a result, we got up and left. The bartender and the waitress watched us walk out and didn’t try to stop us or find out what was wrong. We will take our business elsewhere. They seem to cater to certain people, so if you feel as if you won’t fit the type, you shouldn’t waste your time and go.More

This chef is topnotch. Fried green tomatoes, burgers, fish tacos, grouper sandwich. It's got to be hard to please everyone in a group of six, but he did. The service from waitress Leah was excellent.

Yahoola Creek Grill is consistently great! Their menu is diverse with plenty of comfort foods and they always have specials to add to the selection. I live in Dahlonega and I choose to eat here at least twice a month. The service is always friendly...and personal. Oh, the deserts are sooooooooo good with plenty of options! They also seem to manage the mask scenario with common sense being relaxed when possible and more strict while serving those who may be more fearful making dining a pleasant experience for all.More

Cute little restaurant and it was dog friendly-for us...a big plus. The food great and the staff was good. I do think it’s a few dollars higher per item than expected. For a family of 4, lunch was $80 including tip. (This was without cocktails)....Overall, it was a good experience.More

This was our 1st visit and we will Defiantly be going back again. Everything you could want to order is SO flavorful and fresh. The shining star of the visit was a wonderful waitress names Payton! She was Helpful, funny, always smiling, let nothing bother...her. Payton has a wonderful attitude and was the best waitress we have had in the last month of eating out in the area. Banana Bread French Toast was Super and not covered with syrup so you could not taste the Bread. The Turkey BLT was Perfectly made and served. And even being a bit of a coffee snob I really thought theirs was very flavorful. Other reviewers are putting political crap in their review, we noticed nothing in your face about ANY politics. This is a nice restaurant with a great deck that has a great view. You can not go wrong eating hereMore

We visited Yahoola Grill for take-out food while bringing student back to school None of the staff, including the cook, had masks on. The receptionist and staff seemed negative and rude. Perhaps they are overworked. They had snarky political statements posted- made us wonder about...the people in Dahlonega. The food was marginal- not terrible- just OK. The physical setting seemed great with outdoor dining. Will skip this spot in the future.More

I was referred by another business to go to Yahoola for Mother’s Day. I took my 6 year old daughter and my friend for brunch. I made a reservation for 11am. I drove 1 hr 15 min. We were greeted by a pleasant lady who...attended to us AND even engaged with my daughter when there was no one waiting at the door. We waited at our table for a long time before I finally asked (her) if anyone was going to wait on us. She asked Peyton if she’s wait on us and she happily did. Another table with a larger number came in after us. They received their food before us. The omelet was basically a couple of fried eggs with your choice of ingredients. It was not fluffy and it was half folded. The French toast was good. We opted for the regular version since the daily special was chocolate and banana. The home fries were large potato cuts and pretty straightforward. The grits were good. The chunks of fruit were hard, according to my friend. I didn’t eat mine. When we asked for our checks , the waitress came back with checks that showed a half off discount (roughly). I honestly thought that the discount was due to the extreme slowness that we endured every step of the way. She came back for our payment and then after a LONG time of having our cards and going back and forth between picking up other tables’ orders and the register for our settlement, she came to our table to tell us that there’s an issue with their ‘new system’ and our cards will actually be charged a different amount. She wanted to ‘let us know before she charged our cards’. She brought back a new slip which showed the accurate amount. I explained to her what I thought the discounted amount was and that her bringing back a higher slip seemed odd and her error. The female owner (who happened to be the other waitress) had a terrible attitude to be an owner. She said that she’d take care of it by giving us 20% off but instead she removed one $5 discount and then took her ‘discount’ off. I’ve never had such horrible service. The three of us dine out A LOT and I tried to give the experience the benefit of the doubt UNTIL the two bills came and no one acknowledged their mistake. All businesses should be grateful that people even patronize them during this pandemic, because many are still reluctant to go out. The owner’s attitude is not becoming of anyone who’d like to stay in business. I paid my check and walked out. I will not return.More

I had an amazing entree called vegetable cakes and there are several excellent salads that are vegetarian. I'm not sure whether they would be considered vegan.
