A well kept secret in Cumming!

Food is very good and authentic European. We have eaten here about once every 2 months over the past 10 years and have never had a bad meal. Very small restaurant and noisy, but worth it. Love sitting out in the beer garden- weather permitting. The baked Alaska is delicious - must order ahead... read more

The German food here is good, not great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I may go back a 3rd time, based on the German fare, but have big reservations regarding the atmosphere. The restaurant is in an old house - this fact ups the charm factor, even though there has been no effort put into prettying up the... More

Great authenic food, great service. Restuarant is a little small but enough room to enjoy. Price is fair for quality. Lunch is great and inexpensive.

I thought the food was great here. It reminded me of how my Mom used to cook German food when I was growing up. The building is a little bit run down, especially on the outside, but the service is great and the food is tasty. I think if they put a little effort into sprucing the place up a... More

They have authentic food and drinking beer in tent out of a boot was fun. I think I will go back again.

My party of 6 (3 adults, 3 kids) had dinner on Sunday night. My friends had told me about this place but I had never been until this occasion. First, we had a flight to catch and had to be in and out in 75 minutes. We informed the server, who was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and just a... More

LOVE our little Gasthaus! Great German restaurant! I do recommend reservations as the restaurant is small and it usually gets booked up. Love the Sauerbratenbeef, the red cabbage and of course the German potato salad. Also if you like beer, you'll love that too!

Very authentic German food. The place looks like a dump on the outside. A little paint would go a long ways. The service has always been good. Definitely recommend if you are into German food.

and I can't figure out why. Food is bland and boring. Restaurant is a converted, tiny, little house. There is no room for eating or parking. This place is only open a few nights a week, so what does that tell you?
