Always a great meal... Always. Tastes as if we were in Germany. True authentic German meals each time. Good beer selection as well. Very friendly staff with a comfortable casual atmosphere.

Sunday brunch was tucked away in a small room, served in about 6 or 7 warming dishes were a dozen wonderfully delicious dishes. Not the most trendy place, but the quality more than makes up for it.
We have been to the Gasthaus many times. The food is authentic and truly delicious. The only item I have found on the menus that I do not enjoy are the Knödel as they are fried and not boiled which is the traditionally preparation to my knowledge. Other than that, we always enjoy the food. Mainly we get Jäger Schnitzel... More
First time stopping in and it was a pleasant surprise. They had been very busy just prior to our 7:30 pm reservation and they said they were understaffed. But they looked after us well and the food was great. We will definitely go back again
Almost everything was perfect with the exception of my veal. Which was tough (veal-tough?, I know right). Our server was quick to apologize and willing to correct the problem. Everything else was very good. The salad had the pickled elements, similar to what you would find in Germany, the house dressing was very good. The Rahm sauce for my veal... More
Thanks for your wonderful review! I spoke to Chef and we have found a better source for our veal which will ensure it is tender. I hope when you come back you will let me know personally what you think of the change. Thanks again, Brian GM More
I had the sauerbraten; delicious. The sides were red cabbage (excellent) and spatzel (disappointing). The draft beer was very good. My companions had Wiener Schnitzel (excellent) with red cabbage and potato salad (I've had better and I like my potato salad warm with dinner, not cold) and chicken cordon bleu (very good). For dessert, I had the bread pudding. OK... More
Over priced for incredibly small portions - definitely NOT going back! My wife and I stopped in for lunch and were absolutely shocked at the small portion sizes! My Weiner-Schnitzel was not much larger than a 'tea sandwich', and my wife's Wurstsalat was equally disappointing. Did I say that we WILL NOT BE BACK - we will not!
I called this restaurant from out-of-state after reading other positive reviews. I wanted to arrange dinner to be delivered to my Aunt and Uncle after my Uncles recent surgery. Being that this was such an unusual request I was amazed how gracefully they handled it. I could not have been more pleased and the food received rave reviews. I hope... More
Four of us stopped for a late lunch after hiking Big Creek Greenway, great selection of German Beers and went with the sausage and pretzel appetizer with hot german mustard...perfect! Blake was a very knowledgeable server and walked us through the menu to understand some of the selections. I had Bratwurst with kraut and red cabbage as a side; cabbage... More
Ok let me preference this up front. This is one of those places, those hole in the wall places. If you are coming here it is for good food and beer. The restaurant itself is old and not very impressive "hole in the wall" it by no means will wow you on appearance. However if you like authentic German food... More
