Years later I have tried this place again. Prime rib had a good taste but a lot waste as off fat. Not much steamed seafood. If you like fried - go for it! The steamed crab legs was over cooked or too long in the warmer since it was lol stuck to the shell. We was waiting 1.5 hrs for... More

I went there with a group of class mates. It's away from main centers, spot is great the food is ok. They have a seafood buffet which is priced 30 bucks for all you can eat with a 90 min limit in times of rush. Needs renovation. The place is now called as Fish Dock. Would not visit again.

This place has good fresh seafood, and if you leave hungry there is a problem. It sets right on the water and sometimes you can watch dolphins playing in the water. Parking is limited and if your on a motorcycle bring something for your stand to set on. There is a lot of sand. The key lime pie is Great!

A great out of the way place for seafood, atmosphere and hospitality. The price is excellent for what you get. We go to a lot of high end seafood restaurants - like the Atlanta Fish Market in Atlanta near our home so we know quality food.. The Fish House Pelican is typical of the seafood restaurants, we enjoy at Saint... More

We were travelling north on I-95 in Southern Georgia. We were both in the mood for seafood, and wanted an authentic, non chain, seafood restaurant. We saw the billboard for Pelican Point dockside dining, and it struck the right chord. Exit 58, and 6-8 miles into the "wilderness", we found Pelican Point on the bank of the Sapelo river, shrimp... We ate the buffet on a Saturday afternoon. Other than the deep fried shrimp and hush puppies, the offerings were less than desired. Food tasted as if it was originally frozen and then warmed later for serving.

We came from Savannah to try. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! I am a seafood lover. The snow crab legs were over cooked. The shell was so soft you couldn't pop in half to get to the meat. For them to be buffet style everything was cold and disgusting. It was the fastest walk... More

After spending the morning on Sapelo Island, my mom and I headed South to Jekyll Island. We were weather beaten and hungry and NOT looking to catch fast food on the drive back to Savannah. I spotted the billboard for the Dock at Pelican Point and thought seafood sounded good. We wound our way through Crescent, GA, following the signs,... More

We live almost three hours away and will make the drive just to go eat there. Staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. You get prime rib, crab legs, shrimp along with lots of other seafood or vegetables. Well worth the price of anywhere that it is an all you can eat buffet. My family loves this place.
