Daphne Lodge is the 'goto place' when my wife and I need to have a fine dining experience near home where we know we won't be disappointed. Daphne has great food but its so much more than just eating a meal. The hospitality, ambience, and casual un-rushed feeling that you enjoy is unmatched.

Thought I would splurge a little and go for the French cut bone in ribeye for $41...yep...$41. What I got was a steak so full of fat and gristle that I could not eat it. Even trying to cut through the meat with a steak knife was a struggle. I did get about 4 or 5 bites that were nice... More

Had nice meal that would have been perfect except for the family of 15 adults(?) who were exceptionally loud, after they left half way through our meal it was spectacular. Great Service. We shared the Fried Mushrooms and Cauliflower appetizer which was great, not at all greasy. The wife had the whole Crispy, Dressed Flounder with Apricot and Shallot Sauce... More

We saw this place on TA and are really glad we ate here. The restaurant is located in a beautiful woods setting, and is easy to find. The atmosphere is clean, quaint, and very family friendly. Staff is polite and work hard to ensure your meal goes smoothly. The food was really good and fresh. We had the catfish meal... More

Cute, cute, cute! Nestled in the trees this little restaurant is a gem. Front porch with swings makes this just adorable. We had a sweet young girl wait on us and she couldn't have been nicer. I had broiled grouper cooked perfect and very fresh. My partner had fried oysters that were large juicy and tast. Hush puppies came with... More

We chose the perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary dinner. This was such a comfortable place with excellent food. The service was fantastic. The host treated everyone that walked into the place as his best friends. He also had a story for each of us.

Parking was an adventure, just find a place among the trees, put it park, and that'll do. Food was amazing, filet and smothered quail was cooked to perfection and the flavor was write home about good. The atmosphere was rather like eating in your grandmother's formal dining room. We enjoyed it. Adding to the fun was prom night in Cordele,... More

This spot is wonderful! It is worth the drive out of town! The hospitality of the owners is beyond compare! They are charming and very welcoming. The food is very good and has a southern flare! Go there! You will not be disappointed!

Would love to rate this place a little higher. It was off the beaten path with tall Georgia Pines and looked like a place that was well taken care of inside and out. Beautiful wood and old fashioned wallpaper followed by antique glass and lots of cute things would make your grandma envious. Waitress was not only welcoming but easy... More

Atmosphere, food, staff, location, price........and sweet tea were wonderful. My husband had shrimp and scallops and I had baked grouper parmesean. Appetizers we had were sautéed mushrooms as well as sautéed crab fingers. We started eating the main dish before we realized we forgot to take a picture . It was DELISH!!!!
