We had a wonderful time at dinner. Trent was an excellent server. All of the food was well presented and delicious. Georgia on my plate was the perfect local food appetizer. Pickedled watermelon rinds were amazing! We will definitely return the next time we are...in town.More

There is a vegetarian course which can be adapted to vegan. The vegetarian course has been relatively unchanged and is due for an update. If you visit more than a few times you will have tried all of the options. I'll watch for a vegetarian...menu change before visiting again. Grateful to have a restaurant in Columbus where a vegan and vegetarian can eat out together. The main menu has good options for those who prefer non-vegan/vegetarian dining. Nice experience with options for high backed dining booths which allow for privacy, as well as other seating options. No restaurant in Columbus is similar to the dining style offered by Epic. Nice decor, pleasant staff. Good spirits menu with interesting cocktails. Beer options could be improved. We enjoy embracing the chef's take on dishes/ingredients.More

I needed this restaurant to assist with a major military retirement event. Correspondence was initially through email, but transitioned through personal phone calls due to the nature of my need to understand exactly what the restaurant was capable of. Without a doubt this is one...of the most professional establishments l've ever associated with. The on ground manager, James, was very accommodating and professional throughout my multiple visits prior to my event. Jamie, the owner, set the tone and the standard for how customers should be treated. My party involved 20 military professionals, and went off without a hitch in the private room they call the “library”. Every single thing they said they would do was accomplished. I was able to celebrate 23+ years for a fellow military members retirement, and not have to worry about anything associated with the restaurant. The food was absolutely superb, well plated, and presented with expertise from my waitresses Alexandria and Liberty. I want to publicly thank Epic for a fantastic magical evening, and thank Jamie for reaching out to ensure all accommodations were met. I will be returning in the future to have a casual dining experience and hopefully join the Chef table as soon as the schedule has openings. If you were considering any restaurant in the state of Georgia, you must come try the Epic experience.More

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our 3 daughters and their husbands at EPIC. It was beyond extraordinary!! Jamie and his staff made it really special--- not just with incredible food, drinks and service; but also with many unique "touches" that made the evening "one...of a kind"!! We had one person who needed Glutton free food and that was no problem!! We had the Library ALL TO OURSELVES and tailored the timing of the evening to our suiting. They helped us with a video set up as well as photography to memorialize the evening. Bottom line--- I can not think of a better way to celebrate a special occasion than with the folks at EPIC !!!!!More

I had a fantastic meal at this American restaurant! The service was top-notch and the food was cooked to perfection. I especially loved the Filet of Beef Au Poivre - some of the best meat I've ever had. I'll definitely be back soon to try...more items on the menu. The Death by Chocolate was sublime. Highly recommend Epic!More

Yes, this was Epic. The drinks are incredible-- the "Invisible Man" Manhattan was really good and my wife's "Old Fashioned Girl" was equally as good, Wine selection was really good as well. I had the hangar steak and my wife had the venison. the Georgia...on my Plate was a fantastic appetizer as well. Two mains, an appetizer, and six adult drinks were a bargain $283 plus tax, worth every penny. Service is expert, bartender is world class, just really a great experience. Dress code is business casual.More

We were fortunate enough to dine at Epic’s eight course Chef’s Table. Oh! My! Gosh! Each course was a study in food art, brimming with a variety of flavors to delight the palate. As amazing as the food was, and it was enviably delicious, the...real star of the dinner was Jamie Keating, the chef and co-owner of Epic with his wife, Melissa. This chef is a culinary dynamo! Despite what seems to be chaos to the uninitiated, his kitchen runs like a well oiled machine. It’s worth the price of the Chef’s Table seating just to watch Jamie and his staff in action. I’ll do my best to add pictures of this incredible experience (sometimes it doesn’t work). The Death by Chocolate dessert preparation at our table by Adam was riveting! Descriptions of each course would make this unreadably long, but each course was equally tantalizing: Char Siu Bao, Pan Seared Sea Scallops, Foi Gras & Chanterelle Mushrooms, Copper River Salmon, Long Weekend Detox (sorbets & delicate cucumber rolls), Dry Aged Ribeye, The Ploughman’s Lunch, and Death by Chocolate. Go! Whatever it takes to reserve a seating, do it! You will not regret it!More

Bartender Jordon B. is incredible! My first visit and he made me feel so at home. Love the vibe of Epic. Library themed, which is cool! The food was so good. This restaurant lives up to its name - Epic. The well-trained staff provided just the right touch in delivery of food and beverages. The food was a tremendous find, and in a city where I did not expect to find it. For much of our...dinner, I could have sworn I was at a Michelin star restaurant in Chicago or Washington, D.C. Pre-dinner drinks were prepared expertly and were delicious. We selected the five course dinner, and there were at least four alternatives to courses two and four. The meal was plated and served in a very fine manner. I came away impressed and gave the owner and staff my compliments. I will return.More

Unbeatable fine dining. We both said this was the best. restaurant. Ever. Unexpected treasure in Columbus, Ga. Service, ambience, food, wine all amazing. We’re frequent fine diners in Atlanta and elsewhere so have a good basis for comparison. They currently serve prix fixe dinners due...to COVID. The heirloom tomato salad was the best I’ve had anywhere. Lobster bisque outstanding. Beef tenderloin, osso bucco, pumpkin cheesecake, triple chocolate dessert, all highly recommended. Only thing I would change: tilt the ceiling spotlights upward to avoid being in the line of sight of diners. This would be a fab special occasion choice or good any time you want a quality experience. We had no dinner reservations (unsure when we would arrive in Columbus) but they graciously fit us in within 25 minutes even on Saturday, seating us comfortably on linen sofas while we waited. The restaurant earns its name.More

This was our second visit to Epic. Our first time the food was quite good, but the service was sketchy. Boy, has that changed! You couldn’t have asked for better service! Tyler, our waiter, was spot on as were the other service people. Georgie was...the lady in charge of, among other things, the flatware, which was changed at every course. She was interesting to talk with. It was my husband’s birthday, and on the huge serving plate with his peach cobbler was “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate, and a candle with a raspberry as a holder. So cute! One friend made mention, only to us at the table, that her drink was not as lemony as she expected. Later in the meal Tyler presenter her with another, similar drink out of the blue! How he even heard her mention anything we don’t know. We finished about 9:30 or later, and asked Tyler about getting a taxi or Uber to get back to the hotel. He said to give him a minute. He returned, and we went outside to find him waiting with the owner’s SUV to give us a ride to the hotel. Talk about the coup de grace! Epic went that extra mile in every way and gave us an evening to remember!More

My wife & I made a reservation for two days after Christmas and drove two hours from home to celebrate the holidays at we what consider one of the very best restaurants, coast to coast, and were rewarded with a special evening. We began as...usual with the Epic's superb.lobster bisque. Then, a snag: this night, the usual fois gras was not on the menu this evening. It is my favorite entree, I mentioned this to my server. She went into the kitchen and told the chef, He came out with a pan and made it in front of me. WONDERFUL. SAVORY. MEMORABLE. Yes, Epic is easily the best restaurant in Columbus. But that's just a start. Since I've dined on 4 of the 7 continents (who counts Antartica & Australia?), Epic is on my personal list of one best in the world.More
