In the area for training and I was excited to stop in to the local Irish bar. Surprised they did not have Magners Cider, it's usually a staple for all Irish bars. Ordered the onion rings and Corned beef egg rolls. Onion rings were extremely greasy and the egg rolls were ok. Our bartender never offered to give us plates... More

We saw this restaurant advertised in the tourist guide at our hotel. During a nicer afternoon we stopped in while checking out the historic district. We had been there once before and the area, although advertising for tourists clearly caters to the locals (mostly hipster crowd) and it seems even the employees of the businesses make you feel unwelcome and... Three of us came for lunch. We asked if we could sit outside, and Server Courtney (who was carrying a bottle opener in the waistband of her leggings - operating side-down in the backside of her pants - disgusting!!!! Wipe your beer bottle off before drinking what she brings) hesitated and said she would 'find us a server.' It's a... More

My husband and I went here on Friday night as the first stop of the night. 5 dollar cover each just to get inside, nice atmosphere but for a place where people meet to hang out and talk the music was too loud, and the musicians seemed too angry when no one clapped when the song was over. We stayed... More

Really nice pub. Breta the owner generous with her recipe for perfectly breaded and fried fish and the tarter sauce I could have eaten with a spoon! Kelsey the bartender knowledgeable. Breta was very unhappy about the Halloween criticisms. The problem was due to a hungover chef who quit with no notice. Give it a try. You won't be sorry?

Halloween weekend in Columbus, Ga. means two things to eateries and bars, parties and the Christmas In The South show! Anyway you look at it you stand to make a small fortune from the crowds, if you can do things right! The Folks at Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub don't seem to know what that means. My wife and I took... Three of us went to eat lunch at 2pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was not crowded and seating was easy to find. Plenty of outside seating available. We ordered from the menu. Our waitress was fast and responsive. An hour and ten minutes later our order was delivered to our table. Our waitress had been by several times to... More
