Came here with spouse and a friend. For beginners I always recommend the sampler plate, vegetarian or with meat. The sampler for one ($10) is enough for two to share, especially if you add a few Sambusas (like Indian Samosas). We ordered a veg sampler plate for one and spicy shrimp. It was enough for three. I LOVE their layered... More

Our 2nd visit to Bole. We had the honey wine, combination dinner (lamb and beef with all veggies) and light (not spicy) lamb tibs. Everything is delicious. Relaxed environment. We will be back!!

Bole is a delicious change from other cuisine. This was a wonderful change during the travel week. The food was fresh. The service was wonderful. It is one of those cherished finds! I will return when I am back in Atlanta!

We had never tried Ethiopian food before, and decided that Bole was going to change that for us. Bole was clearly a gathering point for people and we were immediately greeted and invited to pick a table. With the help of our waitress and a friendly customer who overheard our attempt to appropriately order, we ended up with lamb awaze... More

Virginia Avenue, for those who know the neighborhoods around the Atlanta Airport, is known for its low-end stores and fast-food restaurants. But should your travels take you to this part of Atlanta, you might consider stopping at Bole Ethiopian restaurant. The food is excellent and the value is outstanding. My wife and I both tried the vegetarian sampler and agreed... More

Having never eaten Ethiopian food before, my work colleague and I pulled off at the last minute to try Bole. I had the sample plate. This is the one to get if you have never tried the cuisine. My colleague had a chicken dish that was quite spicy. They did offered to make it milder, but without a reference, who... More

The food is not a community plate like other Ethiopian restaurants I have visited, but the food was very good and the service was great. I would recommend to anyone staying near the Atlanta hotel.

Brought my son here for the Ethiopian experience. We had a great time. Owners took a lot of time to explain the dishes. Food was great and you can tell they take pride in their food/service/experience.

This was the first time we tried Ethiopian food. It was tasty. We learned to eat without the usual eating utensils. Instead, we use a yogurt-tasting bread called "injera" to pick up the food. We enjoyed our dinner there.
