Good home-style bbq cooking with many traditional options. Ribs were fantastic. The brisket was also amazing. Worth the find off the main roads. Would definitely go back for more!

The atmosphere was cool and staff were very friendly and got our food out fast. The food just did wow either of us. We had the pork and brisket. Both were a bit dry and the fried okra was bland. The chocolate lava cake was...great, enough for two people.More
If you are in the area you have to stop here. The food was so good. My wife had the pulled pork sliders and I had the brisket sandwich on Texas toast along with a side of Brunswick stew. Everything was delicious along with the...sweet tea.More
Excellent brisket, 3 different sauce choices on the table: vinegar, sweet & hot. I had the brisket tacos which had a homemade crispy shell. The garlic salad was well dressed, a little heavy on the vinegar. Neat wall decor and clean dining area. Well worth...a stop.More
Stopped by for an early lunch. Great service. Huge portions. They do charge a fee if use pay with a card but it is clearly noted on the door. And they do offer a 3.25% discount if you pay with cash.
After passing by this restaruant going to another attraction, we decided to go back and try this place. It is a small place, but do not let that stop you. They do offer a wide variety of smoked and bbq items. One can put what...ever sauce that is perferred, the side basket contains the sauces. We did enjoy the BBQ and the chicken livers. The salad was huge! Fresh veggies. Only thing was, I was not expecting the sandwich to be on toast. But it was a very good sandwich. My only let down was the peanut butter pie. All it basically was peanut butter cream chesse. I could not eat it. The peach cobbler was very good.More
Stopped by on way out of Ellijay. I see why they receive such high reviews. The bbq, brisket and brunswick stew was delicious. The brisket came pulled like the pork instead of on the bone. They were very busy on a Saturday in January. The...banana pudding looks good but didn't want to pay the price. They have a section of items for sale and it's a bit dark inside, an older place but the food is worth the stop.More
We were in north central Georgia on a nice weekend trip. Friends of ours took us to The Pink Pig for barbecue. The Pink Pig is a classic dive barbecue joynt. The food is most excellent. I had the pulled pork and brisket. Is was...some of the best I've had. We are a family of foodies and cook brisket, whole hog and butts nearly every weekend. When we travel, we try to find good barbecue. Pink Pig is a satisfying place to eat. It isn't a pretty place, more like homie and comfortable with great Q. They have been in business for a long time, something like 50 years I think. They have indeed perfected their cuisine. Service for a table of 8 adults was most excellent. Food came out promptly and the order was correct. It was hot and tasty. I recommend The Pink Pig whenever you find yourself in north central Georgia near Blue Ridge or Cherry Log! Enjoy!More
If you like true BBQ don’t waste your time here. Had a knock off “ blooming onion” that had zero seasoning in the batter..terrible. Ordered the Big combo with 2 side and a roll. Mac-n-cheese was pretty good, roll was burnt and crispy, baked beans...were more like mushed beans, and then on to the meats. Ribs not really as tender as you would expect, pulled pork with zero seasoning and very dry. The biggest disappointment was the brisket, obviously chopped and set to serve all day, It was so dry, and had zero fat to even mix it a bit. Slice it , chop it, from the block. For a BBQ joint in business since 1967 I would have expected more FLAVOR. My Weber is much better!!!More
Warm/inviting environment with fun decor, great service (Nick, you are one funny guy, had our boys laughing it up) and AMAZING food! A definite must visit, will not disappoint. Wondering if there is any way I can have some of the banana puddin shipped to...me :o)More
Short wait. Friendly and attentive staff. Large portions. Everything from ribs, pulled pork, chicken strips to mac n cheese was delicious!
Our family loves BBQ and the Pink Pig didn’t not disappoint!! Warm, friendly atmosphere and staff were super sweet! Between our party of 4 adults and 1 child I think we ate a good portion of the menu- ribs, brisket, pulled pork, hamburger, chicken! All...were cooked perfectly and our family had a great experience!More
Had a Brisket sandwich and a Pulled Pork sandwich, plus a side of fried okra and coleslaw and chips. All Delicious! Rustic and kitschy interior. Great value, 2 sandwiches, 2 sides, and 2 bags of chips for 24 bucks. Would recommend, and will be returning...for more.More
Great food and service- loved the sides and desserts the most !! BBQ was good too !! Our service was excellent :)
We heard the Pink Pig was somewhere worth trying. I must say, it is definitely not just worth trying, it should be considered a must DO. From the time we walked in and saw the little shop with all the decor, and greeted by several...folks, until we paid on the way out, all the staff was incredible. Tim, who was our waiter, recommended a few items, one being the oink onion which was incredible (Outback's blooming onion has some catching up to do) and you really need to bless your taste buds with that. There menu is packed full of a variety of food to satisfy anyone, even the kids. My Wife and I shared the chicken combo plate. The half chicken was cooked perfect with great flavor and the barbecue ribs were excellent. Also, the we got the Quesadilla which is a must have as well and it heats up great the next day and still has incredible flavor with the onions and peppers on it. Just an overall excellent experience and will go back while we are here.More
