Local spot worth a try. I opted for cheese eggs, grits, bacon and a biscuit. It was good needed a little more flavor in the grits. Food looks just like the posted pics. If you a country home cooked breakfast this your spot.

I've eaten at this cafeteria twice and don't like the food. I had turkey with dressing, sweet potato casserole, roll, and chocolate cake. The turkey and dressing were mixed together and drowned in gravy. The predominant taste was salt, and it was unpalatable. The sweet potatoes were lacking in flavor. They had raisins added, but they were lacking cinnamon or... More

The tenderloin biscuit with egg is good and comforting. In for a bit more variety, they have great breakfast plates. Simple, but good and reasonable country breakfast. Drinks are self serve. Let others ahead of you in line if you are perusing the menu. They have regulars and the staff will have their plates ready to go for them, so... More

This is a must try if you are visiting Athens, Georgia. Most locals know of it's fabulous food and service. Family atmosphere, but you will find a variety of people there to eat inside. Their breakfast is unmatched in this town. Very affordable with a casual, hometown feel.

Breakfast is the best! If you like good food at a very fair price served simply in a simple, clean dining room, this is the place for you.

this is the best example of a local breakfast place in Athens, you go down a line and pick your food out, very causal place to eat, nothing fancy at all, just good food

This is a great place to go and eat. Great pricing, friendly service, most of all best options for breakfast I've had in a while. Food was hot and fresh. You have to get there early because it gets busy fast.

No frills eatery with cathead biscuits, grits, meats and eggs done your way. Popular spot with folks getting energy for a day's work. Sausage links were spicy. Will probably try the bacon or sausage patties next time. Tables were busy and continually bused. Cafeteria style line moves quickly. We will go back.

this is my 3rd time visiting and I love it. The food and the service are both superb! Everyone is so sweet. The breakfast was hot and the selection was plentiful. They had homemade buscuits, toast, grits, pancakes, eggs, cheese eggs, homemade sausage etc.....they open 6 am-2pm
