Good food

We stopped her for breakfast on our way back home. Was fast, friendly and good. It reminds me of a waffle house.

Basically a waffle house, you can get a plain waffle with your breakfast...."King" is a bit misleading, in my mind I was hoping for some variety or something special....not here.

We had just moved to this area and the restaurant is located next to the hotel where we stayed. Breakfast menu is not for the weight conscious. The staff were very nice and very pleasant!

Very similar setup and menu to WH. Perfectly fine diner fare for a quick breakfast, The Blue Ridge location has a covered patio out front.

I've been here many times in the last several years. The menu has something for everyone, with prices in the cheap-to-midrange. Milkshakes are very good. Never had a bad meal here. Recently they adapted if you want water, it's bottle only (for a cost). Their tap was was terrible. They have an outside covered patio with tvs, but no sound.... More

This diner-style restaurant is clean and the food is good with fair sized portions. They have great chicken wings. The food is simple but tasty and affordable. The location is convenient being close to a hotel, service station, bank and even grocery shopping.

This is a typical 'Mel's Diner' type place. Nice waitress generic food with generic taste. Want to fill your belly don't care if its anything special? Eat here this is your place.

you can get anything you like….except service. there are several of these establishments dotting the highways along hwy 515 up this way. they all seem to be located to worn out converted waffle or huddle houses so for sure the grill is cured. we had breakfast and once we finally got served it was about what you'd expect. eggs were... In short order, it's a higher priced Waffle House. The service was very slow when we visited and the it wasn't busy at all. OJ is in a minute maid bottle unfortunately and hash browns were cooked all the way but because we waited so long to get the food, I wasn't going to spend more time waiting for them... More

I'm not sure how they are allowed to operate. I had to get up to get a coffee refill. The service left much to be desired. The bathroom was disgusting. But by far the worst was the cooking line. I own several restaurants in Florida. I'm sure the laws differ by state, but common sense has to kick in somewhere.... More
