LOVE this restaurant. Their breakfast is amazing!! I like this place because they have locally grown produce/items on the menu. Their omelettes are great! Sweet potato pancakes are my favorite. Their biscuits are homemade and their grits are ground locally. Get there early, or be prepared for a long wait, especially if you have a large group.

I'm told there is often a wait - we must have timed it right for lunch as we were seated immediately. The menu included hamburgers, sandwiches, salads as well as meat and vegetable plates. We chose country fried steak, chicken casserole and vegetables. Everything was very good. Service was quick and friendly. Note - they don't take cards so bring... More

This local restaurant has the best veggies in town. The meat and veggie menu changes daily. It is so good. I hear the chicken tenders are awesome( I don't eat meat). I usually only eat lunch ere, but breakfast is good too!

Always enjoy coming here for breakfast, a comfortable restaurant for comfortable food. Had eggs, pancakes, grits and great coffee always worth the wait. Wife had the same can't wait for the next visit.

My husband and I dined here for breakfast last Saturday. The daily special was Strawberry and Whipped Cream pancakes. The pancake was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor. We shared the pancake and still left some as we could not finish. We also had biscuits & gravy, bacon, and two eggs. Overall breakfast was very good and we plan... More

The Saw Mill never disappoints. Great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. The Georgia Pecan pancakes are out of this world. Be sure to wear your "buffet" pants because it's a large stack. If your there for lunch be sure to try the meatloaf and corn cakes.

Hubby and I wanted to do something a little different, get out of the house, have brunch. He chose Saw Mill Place, which was a little away from the beaten path, but obviously enjoyed by both local patrons and visitors! They are only open for Breakfast and Lunch (see internet for menus). We went on a Saturday morning, which was a... More

We had a wonderful breakfast here. The pancakes, bacon and biscuits were fabulous. The service was good and the prices were fair. I liked the pancakes so much more than the French toast I had last time. The only negative is the long wait time and chaotic waiting/seating process. We had to wait about 45 minutes and were called up... More

We really appreciate your review and are happy to hear you enjoyed your breakfast!! Yes, you are right, the wait times can get close to 45 minutes during peak season. It is, however, somewhat of an urban myth that "locals" or others receive preferential treatment in seating. We have an assortment of seating options here and sometimes a party of... More

Be prepared to wait awhile when you come to this local favorite. It's a small country restaurant with a big following. I tried the breakfast sampler ($9.99) two farm fresh eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 1 sausage patty, 1 slice of country ham, biscuit and gravy. It was delicious. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. More than one came... More

We have eaten here many time, usually 2-3 times a week, breakfast or dinner. All of the food served here comes from local farmers and it is true southern cooking. Every meal is fantastic. Breakfast has pancakes the size of a plate and other breakfast foods. Meats served at lunch can be cut with a fork. Desserts are all homemade.... More
